HF Habs: 2025 Draft Combine

Desnoyers met the Habs brass in Moncton earlier in the season. And he will meet with them again in Buffalo.

I hope he told them, absolutely not. We're teammates. I protect him on the ice and off the ice. What a stupid question.
Wrong answer.

Next question......Suzuki breaks team rules by doing blow. Coach asks you about it....do you tell him?

Every player needs to be held accountable. If they don't hold eachother to account, they should gtfo.

Yes, because it's the same answer. You're protecting your teammate who needs help and has a blow addiction. Holding a player accountable comes in different ways and ratting one out for being in a casino at 3am is not one of them. If the teammate wants to hold the player accountable because they think the game or team is going to be impacted, then the players talk to their teammate. That's why players only meetings take place.

Or....you are protecting him......and the team first.....by giving the information to one person who may be able to actually help the person.....the coach.

Unless you think your teammate has a gambling problem, the coach isn't helping him. And if you want to go through every variable in this 20 minute interview, then you just wasted a question, proving how dumb it is.

I guess we would have to know what the purpose of the question is. What do they want to see out of the player.

If they are looking for loyalty to your teammates and protecting your teammmates than you answer would be correct.

If they are looking for loyalty to the team and accountability amongst players....well that would be the correct answer to disclose this information.

Ideally, you pull Suzuki aside and have a conversation with him before having to rat to the coach, but its not as black and white as an answer.
