Golf, tennis or volleyball champion….Timmins would be all over this guy.
Schaefer has high odds of becoming a franchise dman, Misa will most likely finish at the wing IMO. Unless the Isles are certain that Misa ends up as a center and becomes a top forward, they'd be crazy to pass up on SchaeferI usually hate the idea of drafting a D @1 unless it’s Pronger or Dougthy. But I feel the 3-4 top forwards have way too many unanswered questions. A forward is more of a need for the Isles but I think Darche will have no other choice but to go with Schafer. Plus he’s a late 2007, so he has tons of runway to develop.
Because he’s black? lol like what do they have in common other than that? This guy intrigues me a lot, I smell a Subban-like skill set.
His strength, his spirit, and the way he plays the puck hard.Because he’s black? lol like what do they have in common other than that?
Which are just very general attributes that can be linked to so many different players but you chose the black defencemanHis strength, his spirit, and the way he plays the puck hard.
Subban was more explosive on the ice for sure, but Zonnon has that aggressiveness, a two-way acumen, and brute force. If he can improve his skating, he could be a great top 9. He's more of a passer, but he also has a big snap shot ... so yeah, I do compare him to Subban because I see a probable surprise in him in the second round of the draft.Which are just very general attributes that can be linked to so many different players but you chose the black defenceman![]()
There will be much better options than him imo.I like this kid less and less.
"You’re right I’m shit defensively, but I’m only 18". Man you play in the CHL, just trying to play defensively would be good enough.
"I’m not selfish". Okay, explain trying to deke everyone all the time.
Not self-aware whatsoever.
And still had a phenomenal year lol hmmmNov? Damn.
Probably should have dealt with it back then.
Is he a 4th-round possibility?? His skating seems pretty slow.Depending on where he falls i'd easily take the gamble. High risk high reward type of pick.
Absolutely not imo. A team will take the gamble way before that. Would not be surprised to see him go in the 2nd round. Is he a 4th-round possibility?? His skating seems pretty slow.
Wasn't he classified somewhere around 100th in North America?Absolutely not imo. A team will take the gamble way before that. Would not be surprised to see him go in the 2nd round.
A #1 D usually has more value than #1 center.I usually hate the idea of drafting a D @1 unless it’s Pronger or Dougthy. But I feel the 3-4 top forwards have way too many unanswered questions. 100% agree. I'd say it's the last rebuild draft but with seven top 100 picks we have a pretty decent draft power and we should use it to fill the prospects pool and after that we should move on from rebuilding.I for one hope they keep both picks or find a way to move up, the rebuild is far from over.
I think he has gone up in the final ranking.Wasn't he classified somewhere around 100th in North America?
