I think Frondell is going to be the one to slip. He carries a little bit of risk for a top 5 pick. He isn't really a line-driver or great in transition. Skating still needs work, more so that first step. Some say he isn't even going to stick at center and projects more as a winger. He had a very weak U-18 tournament with 3 points in 5 games.

There is still a lot to like about his game, just pointing out some questions. I would gladly take him at 7 if he is there.

I really think that you should spend all your 1sts on forwards and then just throw a million darts at D and G and hope you get lucky after that.

Certainly seem like reliable #3 and #4 D's lurk in the middle rounds

I think at this point keep it simple and draft 1 of brian frondell or desnoyers. I'm sure one of them will be there and they so close to each other in rankings. Just dont go off board when its such a high pick.

No problem taking D with high end talent and elite offensive instincts in the first round, but guys that project as defensive D if pass on until later rounds.

McQueen he could be the next tage thompson or john beecher kinda like the dean leternaeu pick.

I go back to what Dom was saying and he brings up a good point. Misa and Hagens project as #1 centers, Desnoyers as a #2 (high end two way game), with O’Brien as the only one left with potential to be #1 center. McQueen is another possibility but he carries a lot more risk.

O’Brien could easily jump Frondell and I think he does because of the potential.

I don’t know if Frondell creates enough to be a center. It seems like his game is best suited to forecheck on the wing and be the shooter.

Thats just it, after Schaefer and Misa the Bruins could end up with the next best player at 7. Ive seen some crazy mocks out there. Just as long as Sweeney doesn't reach from the consensus top 10-12 players. The Bruins should get their top prospect.

Too funny there's people that are against Martin because he had a great U-18 tourney, but have turned sour on Frondell, because he had a poor one despite playing against men all year and excelling. If he's there id be shocked, but it would be awesome, as long as Sweeney took him. lol
