That is about my read on things as well.I have a feeling he might be going 3 or 4 now, based on his play in the second half this season.
Hagens might drop down a notch.
We should have choice of one of the two swedes or O'Brien.
all it takes is for one team to love Brady Martin or Eklund to have Desnoyers fall to the B`sapparently preds have a big chub for hagens, at least that's the chatter
It certainly could happen. To my untalented evaluation, Schaefer, Misa, Hagens, and Martone are above rest and I would be surprised if they don't go in the four. Hagens could fall to Nashville at 5.all it takes is for one team to love Brady Martin or Eklund to have Desnoyers fall to the B`s
No we will probably just go grrr Sweeney poop brrrrWhen we come back in 5 years to look at where players were selected, we will understand how much of this is a crapshoot and how hard it is to predict the future
Thanks Dom.![]()
Panthers Win; Bruins Gain a First Round Pick – Almost

Yea the best player might be selected in the 2nd round. Look at knies .When we come back in 5 years to look at where players were selected, we will understand how much of this is a crapshoot and how hard it is to predict the future
Avoid the risk of McQueen at 7 and trade up in 2nd to get Matthew Gard instead.
Jeff Kealty is their GM and he’s from here (B.U, via Newton and I’m not sure but I think his family home is still somewhere off 128 Westwood ? Maybe??)apparently preds have a big chub for hagens, at least that's the chatter

He was a first round pick by Quebec but blew out knee or something ~ I gotta laugh I remember him he was at BU and had a great flow ~ he’s super bald now. I don’t want a bald GM or coach. I’ll ask my BU buddy former player he knows him and will get the skinny
He’s always liked Boston area guys so Hagens makes sense even though he’s a BC guy
I just looked him up and he’s GM of US men’s team in Sweden at Worlds

My 5 weeks away draft top 7
1. Islanders- Schaefer
2. Sharks - Misa
3. Chicago - Desnoyers
4. Utah -Martone
5. Nashville - Hagens
6. Philadelphia- O’Brien
7. Bruins - Frondell/Eklund
Eklund continues to outplay him and show higher hockey sense but Fribdell a C with size and skills ~ he doesn’t yet show the 6th sense that leads to big production. We will see I can be talked into him by people I respect and know more about him
I need to be sold more on Frondell I have watched to much tape on him getting outplayed by EklundInteresting you think Philly would take O’Brien over Frondell
Could work out massively for the B’s
I need to be sold more on Frondell I have watched to much tape on him getting outplayed by Eklund
I would be excited for Frondell (in full disclosure I probably was throwing shit when they drafted some guy named Patrice Bergeron-Cleary) but Eklund just seems like a near sure thing at a position Fabian Lysell is listed as RW2Eklund would be a good pick too, but something tells me Frondell with his rocket of a shot and in an environment where he has nhl guys and nhl trainers, his skating will take a leap and he’ll get better at using his stick work around his shot to also dish to nhl talent
If Eklund has the pedigree to grow into a bowling ball though he’s also a great pick
I’m looking forward to it either way, definitely would have preferred to somehow stay at 4 and grab deysnoyers or Martone but I won’t cry over slid draft picks
Couldn’t they slide Frondell to wing as well? I mean I agree with you on the need for elite scoring and wing depth, which between the two is the more natural goal scorer? Who’s got the better shot?I would be excited for Frondell (in full disclosure I probably was throwing shit when they drafted some guy named Patrice Bergeron-Cleary) but Eklund just seems like a near sure thing at a position Fabian Lysell is listed as RW2
Eklund brother went 7 and is going be a point per game guy with SJ ~ I’ve read Viktor is better
They have a zillion centers and Lindholm is a top 6 easy and Zacha is solid 2C or super 3C
They got Mitts, Poitras, Minton, Letourneau, Locmelis etc…..
If they are sold on Frondell take him I just see Eklund continuing to outplay him on game video
the knee history doesnt scare you off even a little with Frondell? Bruins seem to miss when they get 1st rounders, really cant take one with any question marks.I would be excited for Frondell (in full disclosure I probably was throwing shit when they drafted some guy named Patrice Bergeron-Cleary) but Eklund just seems like a near sure thing at a position Fabian Lysell is listed as RW2
