NHL 2025 DRAFT - Bruins pick 7th

That was supposed to happen in 2015 too. I rather parlay all these picks and get me a boldy type. Grow around him . Wait a minute the leafs just dropped another egg call them and say you interested in trading Mathews? We have some serious currency here.
Wouldn't the teams picking 1-6 have better currency?

O brian might be nabbed by flyers some drafts have him higher then desnoyers and frondell.

He has a higher IQ than both and his ability to hide and masterfully make passes ala Krejci is superior.

I think it’ll come down to fit for a lot of teams in the draft because BPA is really hard to gauge with this one IMO, and the more time that goes by the more teams are realizing how different drafts look when you look back 5-10 years later and re-order them

Basil McRae was good

Bart Crashley

Btw if you didn’t see the documentary Whalers that just came out

Mark Howe says in 1977 the Bruins who held his rights offered him a 5 year deal which he was going to take - but the stinking Whalers wanted the whole family. Mark was going to sign with Boston, Marty with Montreal and Gordie would end up retiring. However, Colleen Howe basically told Mark if you don’t go to Hartford he’s done so he didn’t want to do that.

Mark said the Bruins 5 year deal was a lot more than the Whalers or WHA could afford.

Insane - Cherry Lunch Pail Gang from 77-79 would have had Park & Howe but of course altered everything that came afterwards
Would have changed a thing or two whether Mark Howe would play defense or left wing. Wasn't he still playing left wing at the time. Great post Dan. Thank you.

Howe would have changed the Bruins.
Imagine him and Bourque playing together on PP1?
Assuming Howe stayed with the Bruins, it would have changed our draft pick in 82 to Bellows.

It’s dangerous to give the Bruins 2028 or anyone unprotected so I don’t see it but anything possible

That team within 10 days likely played the most games over a 3 year period ever

Lot of hard miles on them
All wagons break with time.

You can’t include the 2 - that’s notmoverall it’s just for Euros.

Several of these lists are also old and not final.
True elite prospects can only update their website so often and that’s where I get this information from as well as all scout comments with everyone’s latest rankings.

watched Desnoyers for 3 full games during the finals of the Q, kid is so smart in all areas of the game, can`t see him dropping to the B`s but man would it be nice
I have a feeling he might be going 3 or 4 now, based on his play in the second half this season.
Hagens might drop down a notch.
We should have choice of one of the two swedes or O'Brien.

I think we are still going to wind up with an excellent prospect any way we cut it so I`m not stressed and perhaps it`s recency bias watching him and never really seeing any of the other kids but man is he smooth

But it’s 1977 and the trade was Ron Grahame in 1978 ~ butterfly effect changes everything

The Bruins would have been a power house in 77 +

Would love to see if he signed how the future went

We some nice trades back in the 70's....the one you mentioned, the Park trade, Rick Middleton, Gilbert, Schmautz.

I'm trying not to get married to anyone. The Kings are regarded as one of, if not the best drafting team in the NHL. When they had the 2nd overall pick they could have picked anyone. They went with Byfield who most agreed was a great choice. 5 years later Tim Stutzle has twice as many points, and Byfield is 8th in his draft class for points.

We can all fall in love with Denoyers or Eklund, but nobody knows who the best forward is going to be from this draft. It might not even be Misa.

Pick and pray. They're all lottery tickets.
