Drafting guys to “score” and then trying to teach them to spend the whole game in the defensive zone blocking shots.

Losing Charlie removes your top defense man. But I guess if you get the 1st pick plus a player ready player it might be a possibility’s maybe with that belief you then move Swayman too

I’ve read that opinion elsewhere. While he may be tough I would want a playmaker/scorer for my prospect pool who is a center.

Martin is a great play maker. Probably beat more defensmen on the rush than any forward in the OHL. Don't underestimate this kid. If the Bruins don't pick him someone else will get a solid impact player going forward.

I still believe San Jose is the play if you want to make a trade. Eklund will undoubtedly still be there at number 7. They can put the brothers together but they don't want to do that with a second overall pic. Send them the Leafs first next year and a second this year to swap pics. Everybody wins.

Grier said that he would trade the pick for a player who can help the team now. That sounds like Zacha and 7thOA for 2nd OA. Maybe we'd need to add more, but it's a start.

When Sweeney hinted that he was open to trading the pick, I'd hope that he meant trading UP, not trading OUT.

Why sell assets at the deadline and tank, and then trade the pick????

I think that's the beginning of a possible deal- Bs would still need to add- something like the Toronto #1 next year with maybe SJ adding their 3rd next year

To get a player with true first center potential - I would do something like this in a heartbeat - and I like Zacha
