Drafting guys to “score” and then trying to teach them to spend the whole game in the defensive zone blocking shots.What exactly is the Bruins identity anymore anyway.

Then watch him wither in futility and not fulfill his $9.5m salary, nor make another run at the Cup. His value to us is as high right now as it will ever be and we don’t have the team to fully realize it. Better to move him and add assets toward a future core of young stud players.Not trading Charlie
Martin is a great play maker. Probably beat more defensmen on the rush than any forward in the OHL. Don't underestimate this kid. If the Bruins don't pick him someone else will get a solid impact player going forward.“Brady Martin could be a center but not everyone in the league is sold that he’s smart enough….”: Pronman
I’ve read that opinion elsewhere. While he may be tough I would want a playmaker/scorer for my prospect pool who is a center.
Grier said that he would trade the pick for a player who can help the team now. That sounds like Zacha and 7thOA for 2nd OA. Maybe we'd need to add more, but it's a start.I still believe San Jose is the play if you want to make a trade. Eklund will undoubtedly still be there at number 7. They can put the brothers together but they don't want to do that with a second overall pic. Send them the Leafs first next year and a second this year to swap pics. Everybody wins.
I think that's the beginning of a possible deal- Bs would still need to add- something like the Toronto #1 next year with maybe SJ adding their 3rd next yearGrier said that he would trade the pick for a player who can help the team now. I still can see either Casey or Pavel moved
He’s not a center though. Hadn’t been a center for a long while.Love Barzal. Hes a 100pt C w Pasta. If he's available then you have to take a shot.
Zacha + 1st next year, 2nd this year ++

So do half the guys that get moved, manMcAvoy has a no trade contract.
Trading for barzal right now would be like
Asking the prom queen out at your 25th reunion.
Ridiculous-- he just turned 28 a month ago. He's a great C to pair w a shooting W (Pasta).Trading for barzal right now would be like

He really doesn’t play center any more. It’s been years. We ain’t lying here.Ridiculous-- he just turned 28 a month ago. He's a great C to pair w a shooting W (Pasta).
