NHL 2025 DRAFT - Bruins pick 7th III

Bruins would be forced to use Zacha on the wing for the line to take the draws that Barzal can't win, because he is atrocious at the dot.
Geekie and 'spectacular' in the same sentence? Yikes. Geekie is a third-liner at best. I can’t believe some people actually want him on the first line especially after the Bruins just had the worst season in franchise history and were dead last offensively. Putting a bottom-six player in your top six is not how you get out of this black hole."

When you look at last season no one paid the price except Marchy. He is extremely happy now. Respected to for his effort.

Based on draft history, I’d be willing to bet good money that one of Hagens, Desnoyers, Martone or Frondell is there at 7. Feels like a lock. And I’d run to the podium for any one of them.

So let’s keep the pick. Our pipeline is barren and we’ve traded away way too many first rounders in the last 10 years. Pick one of those guys, suck another year, do this again next year and let’s be on our way to building something again.

Yeah would never use spectacular, but 17 goals ,and then 33 the next season I think makes him more than a 3rd line player unless you think it was just a fluke last season.

he is clearly just a product from Pasta, he was completely erased last year before being paired with Pasta in December, he will never do this kind of season again, he has at best a guy with 30-40 pts max

I doubt they will be there but if your right that's a darn good book it!

So even playing with Pasta he is only getting 30-40 pts ,why , he has a good shot he will continue to get scoring chances playing with Pasta if he got 33 goals solely on being pared with Pasta in December. Why would he not produce potentially playing all season with him.

I don't think you meant to reply to me, seeing as I was talking about Zacha and Barzal.

Maybe, we get the #1 pick overall, take on JGP and his contract and give them #7?
Heck, I would even throw in a second rounder if they want?
Seems like an awful lot to give up for the Islanders just to be rid of 1-year of Pegeau's contract.

I see the Bruins interest in Pageau and I'm thinking more like a 3rd round pick in return.

A very sad stat: Based off this season alone, Pageau would immediately slot in as our 5th best player. 2 more points in 2 less games than our current 5th best in Mittlestadt

I said if they add a pick and take back Mittlestadt.
He makes $5 million, has only 1 year left on his contract, is 32 years old, and has only scored 20 goals once, before the pandemic.

I will repeat: why would we want him?

It would have to be at least a 2nd.

A) The Pageau stuff came from only Jimmy Murphy. I don’t know why people still take his shit as fact and

2) I don’t know how anyone watched the Final and didn’t think Barkov was the best player on the ice. Baffling to me.
I didn't think barkov was the best player on the ice, nothing against him because he was awesome. But man, how forsling dominated mcdavid, just as one example. His ability to stop all rushes was, to me, the most impressive hockey I saw during the finals.

Forsling was excellent. Barkov sacrificed offense a ton to stop those guys. He was just so freaking good.
