that's all we need - just 1 team to alter direction a little bit. martin seems to be the most likely
guy but know of at least 1 team that has mrtka top 5...so it's not crazy to think this year's lists
will be incredibly different team to team.

Which is why I can't believe Boston would trade up. Even if they think there is a break at 5, It is very likely at least one of their top 5 will be there at 7

the player i would trade for the #3 pick is Morgan Geekie.
Take advantage of his one year break out year.
save money on his expected raise for an extension.
draft your 2 centres of the future with the #3 pick and #7 pick.
use geekie money projected on another UFA

Come on man - Chicago is going to trade out of the first round for Morgan Geekie?

I dont even think Chicago would do Geekie + 7OA for 3OA

1. Michael misa
2. Matthew schaefer
3. James hagens
4. Porter martone
5. Anton frondell
6. Caleb desnoyers
7. Kashawn aitcheson
8. Roger mcqueen
9. Logan hensler
10. Jake o brien
11. Brady martin
13. Victor eklund
14. Jackson smith
15. Cullen porter

Thats my big board for the top 15. I wouldnt be surprised if any of these names end up the best player from the draft. Makes the pick at 7 difficult, i also wouldnt be surprised if any of these players ended up being underwhelming

This is not bad at all, but I would rank Frondell second overall, after Misa.

I really think the Bruins need to take him if he's available.

He's the most NHL ready player in the draft, and with his recent output, arguably also has among the highest ceilings in the draft too.

Most people think he is a 2C; but I think he has 1C potential easily.

He has done it his whole career, nothing new. And not only that, but he came back from 3 surgeries and made people eat crow. People act like he is elderly 🤣
Yea, go ahead and sign him then for 3 years at 7 million per ,because that is type deal his agent wants.Marchand is not giving you this effort over an 82 game schedule anymore and not playing in the top 6 either. He last game he played under 14 minutes. The Bruins don't have those 2 line mates here either for him on a 3rd line .Anyhow,I am happy for him but don't want him back here .It's time to move forward .

Hmmm. What would everyone trade for the third? Do the bruins have a difference maker that’s not pastrnak?
I don’t see it happening. Bruins just don’t have the depth to move up, and after Schaefer and Misa, it’s anyone’s guess on who going to be the best pro among the next 5-6 players that’ll be drafted.

I could actually see them trading the pick in a deal for a player or more picks than moving up.
