I’m starting to think O’Brien should be the guy. His high IQ and elite passing, if it’s fair to call it elite, might translate well. He’s another guy who doesn’t have a build like Conan the Barbarian, but his play style might work out OK fine. If he can hold his own in board battles and get quick enough to burst open in tight spaces, he should be very, very good. Definitely a center in the NHL, looks like.

Philly grabs O’Brien mostly a gut feeling here say there scouts like him. I wonder if Briere see a little of himself as a comparison which in turn this leads him to believe he’s a great match for Michkov in the future.

I do agree they’d like Martin too for obvious reasons ya know the hard nose factor.

That was unfortunate, but I don’t see any reason he should be frozen out.

Good hockey player but he can be hit or miss. MIB was a great film, but Bad Boys II? Might as well have not even dressed.

Frondell is a goal scoring power C so I totally get it

Eklund going to be the statistical comp to Caufield and DeBrincat but bigger, more physical, and better defensively

Definitely possible. I’d be very happy with O’Brien, Frondell, or Eklund. Anyone from that little group. Even if Frondell ends up a winger, he’s a horse and should be able to forecheck and snipe. I’ll take a guy who can shoot the puck into the net. To me Eklund is pretty much a guarantee to be an excellent, very competitive winger.

Dream scenario first four picks for me would be Schaefer, Misa, Martone and Martin. If Frondell, Hagens and Desnoyers are all on the board when the Bruins are 3 picks away I will pass away from priapism
