NHL 2025 DRAFT - Bruins pick 7th II

I guess it depends on where you think the team ends up acquiring one of these guys. I just don't think they would be all that much better, as unless one of the big 3 in the Atlantic crap the bed the Bruins are fighting for the 7/8 seed. I hope they try to build this thing methodically and not all at once this summer.
Given Pasta and Macs age i would have to think adding a guy like Robertson now while they are both still in their prime would be a pretty good move. Especially with this front office there is no guarantee they draft and develop any forward properly, however you know what you're getting with Robo (or Necas).

Maybe that forward at 7 is 3 years away from an impact. Do we want to waste 3 of our top players' prime while we wait?

Whereas if you get one of those two guys now you have a clearer picture of what we have and can move forward and build the team appropriately.

Not many junior players are ready to jump right on to an NHL roster. They have to be exceptional players to by pass the AHL and better than some NHL pros. Not sure what the prototype player the Bruins have envisioned. Watching the finals you can see what type of players you need to win a cup. Marchy , Bennett , Tkachuk. Who in the top 7 of this draft do you thing fits that bill? Maybe Martin , Porter Martone? There are some other promising players in this draft if a GM does his home work.

You also need that type that are smooth quiet and nifty passers like krejci to win it all. I think o Brian fits the bill.

I like O'Brien. Has NHL height. Needs to add a few pounds like all juniors. Has a high hockey IQ and puts up the numbers to prove it. In todays NHL creativity is huge. I wouldn't mind sweeney picking this kid. He is well coached by McKee.

I mean, that would be shocking. No two ways about it haha.

If Martin goes at 4, one of the consensus guys will be there at 7. Idk I really feel like Frondell or Martone will be on the board when the Bruins pick.

I think , based solely on all I am reading and listening about this years kids after Misa/Schaeffer is you can pick between 6-8 of them and it be viewed as a very solid pick. As usual every year, the only kids I`ve really seen are those playing in the WHL or at the WJHC`s so not a massive sample size

I`ve developed a man crush on Martin not just based on how it looks like he plays on the ice but his story away from the ice, "brings pain", love it

I don't know who Gemini is but I wouldn't do that trade because of the unprotected 1st. If it was the Leafs 1st I'd definitely do it though.
It’s artificial intelligence that’s built into all android phones. It’s pretty handy. I have an iPhone so I use chat gpt myself.

Wining and dining Brady Martin are they? Hmm. Interesting. Arguably the best attitude and hardest worker in the draft and definitely fits the Bruins ideological goals but rarely if ever ranked as high as 7. Then again rarely ranked below 10 or 11 so not a complete reach. I have mixed feelings if that's the pick.
His stock rose after most ppls lists where published.

Interesting that Jake O'Brien is not on that list.
He probably won’t be on the board at 7? That’s my guess. They already spoke very highly of him when they were scouting him. I can’t see 6 teams passing on him. Then again would 6 teams pass on Hagens?

Man, I was looking forward to the combine this week, but if you weren’t actively searching for information about it.. you wouldn’t even know it’s happening right now.

I just have no idea what’s going on over there. The NFL does the combine so well. Is NHL network even airing anything about the combine this week? I don’t see anything on the programming schedule.
Well, you make a good point, but we are talking about the NHL, so you should not be surprised. Maybe it would be a good time to promote your game, instead some of the other bullshit they get wrapped up in.
