Maybe it will come together after all we will see … I mean Pasta and Necas also werent 100% fit last year and still it somehow happened lol

They have to beat us clean in regulation.. might even have to pull a goalie at the end of the third if it is close. We are in a nice spot assuming we can win against Hungary and Kazakhistan.
The one that scares me is Germany. They have the exact kind of tactical game to f*** us. I am a big Stutzl and Seider fan. Expect that one to be a battle.
Yeah I expect a tight game .. of course we have a bit of quality and edge on our side, but still this can go either way
But same way Germans can steal some points from Switzerland or USA, so we will see how it pans out
Just dont make some giant f*** up and lose to Hungary or Kazakshtan and go into those last two games safely with QF already in our pocket

Both should be a classic ugly match.lol. We want them to win 8-0 but they will be 3-1 and 3-1.lol
The game vs. Germany will be completely open, 50/50 chances. Germany is looking very strong this year. When I was watching them play, I was saying to myself, OK, this is a highly skilled, tactically mature, complex and coherent hockey team. Wouldn't be surprised at all if they win a medal.

100 percent. They remind me a lot of the Swiss teams that have medalled in the past Well coached, tactical and a few elite players sprinkled in.
So Hertl is out, probably little chance he passes the medical chechkout then, but we will see.
Kampf is one game from elimination, and he played last game so thats good

That's due to the AHL playoff structure being weird. Laval sat for 7 days, Rochester for 13 because the league didn't want to start this round in a timely fashion. If they had started last weekend, Kulich would probably already be available. It's not like the team was eager to sit around that long.

Of course but he could have been playing this whole time in a similar position as a 2C or even 1C with PP and important roles. Instead he sits and does nothing. I almost think they should've sent him and then sent him back when it's over next weekend.lol
He's playing 1C as of last night and picked up 2 assists in the process. *shrug*
He might be available by Sunday though.
(Edit - nope, next Wednesday because the AHL is not serious about doing these things quickly).So my take so far:
Pasta is enjoying himself very much out there and thats something other teams really dont want to hear lol
Our first line is looking very good
Second line too, shame they dont have better C there, Spacek is really not anything special, but Necas and Zadina are great
Bottom six is playing good, especially I like Vozenilek game, Lauko is superb (hope he will be alright), Flek and Beranek looking good
Klapka looked great tonight, we will se how he do in tougher games, but I really think he is the kind of guy thi team need .. still dont understand why he is not a stable member of the lineup lol
D is kinda hard to tell since we had only one tough game so far, sometimes maybe bit too chaotic but looking solid ... Pyrochta and Gazda are nice suprises

Now somehow sneak in Hertl lets goo
Btw love how Rulik completely lost it after that elbow on Lauko ... thats what a proper coach need to do and stand by his guys in those situations

I didn't expect them to pour it on the poor hungarians for 60 minutes straight, but show up for at least one period, one powerplay.
Imagine saving all year so you can travel to Denmark and watch the national team including multiple high end NHLers and this is the perfomance you get. Result looks much better than the on ice product, although Hungary didn't help with their all defense strategy.

Kinda get where you coming from .. not so dominant as I would expect too ... but sometimes its hard against those outsiders to get that full throtle .. and we definitely didnt play on 100% one minute today
In the end 6 goals .. shots 32-12 so we really didnt let them do much .. quiet calm nice game .. would I love more dominance and spectacle? Of course ... but this was good enough
Only two things which suck are Lauko injury and our PP didnt look good at all

Just finished watching. So klapka hits a guy and he elbows lauko. It'll almost.be funny if klapka takes laukos spot after that.lol. I want lauko and klapka obviously. Bojovniks.
They won easily. Kazakhs next. We are undefeated. Swiss demolished Germany and USA. Our win over them looms large.
I'm really happy but am dying to know who the final roster player is.
