He was injured.I was not following this: what is Zacha's excuse this time?
if he was genuinely injured, fair point. I did not know that. given his previous history..He was injured.
I mean, sure he played all 82 games. And I'm positive he would've palyed every playoff game. And here are his last 5 games

So top line minutes but he is injured. I wish him a speedy recovery.
FWIW - I didn't expect him and didn't even flinch when he wasn't announced. I do hope he makes Olympics as our 2C... give Hertl Necas and give Zacha Pasta.
Probably the same "excuse" like for dozens of Swedes, Finns, Americans, Canadians and others? People should finally realize these guys just played an 82-game season. All of them are exhausted, many had been ending the season with minor health issues which didn't necessarily prevent them from playing hockey but require some time to get rid of before the preparation for the new season begins. It will be different with the Olympics: Extraordinary tournament, everybody wants to be there. But the WCH is every year. If the player is available, healthy and feels he still has some fuel left in the tank, guys usually love playing for their country. But sometimes the player himself feels it would be too risky considering his health and readiness for the summer practice process.I was not following this: what is Zacha's excuse this time?
Those are fair points generally, but this is Zacha who very often declined to play for reasons other than what you describe, as you are well aware. I didn't know he was actually nursing an injury, my bad as I said in another post, but generally over the years Zacha's situation has NOT been the same as dozens of Swedes, Finns or indeed Czechs, so it was not unreasonable to wonder if there was an excuse lurking there somewhere. Until someone set it straight and confirmed he is not 100% healthy.Probably the same "excuse" like for dozens of Swedes, Finns, Americans, Canadians and others? Yeah thats ridiculous, Kodytek is by far the weakest player in the lineup.Hope Marty is okay.. Kodytek ahead of Klapka in lineup.lol
Gazda was said to be a bad skater, but Pyrochta is excellent. This can play a big role on a big rink.Have to say not so hot about lines being like that lol .. Vozenilek is no top 6 player, .. Klapka should be in the lineup, Kodytek just a sub, Pyrochta sub and put Gazda instead of him
I think he will do well tbhYeah thats ridiculous, Kodytek is by far the weakest player in the lineup.
I just read the article, and the hell he was in 2nd PP line today if I got it correctly? You got to be kidding me lolI think he will do well tbh
He is a girtty player like a beranek but I don't think he should be ahead of klapka lmao
That is outrageous if trueI just read the article, and the hell he was in 2nd PP line today if I got it correctly? You got to be kidding me lol
Well I guess Necas will move to 1st PP and someone from that PP line will hopefuly kick Kodytek out but stillThat is outrageous if true![]()
What is kodytek job? Stand in front of the net? He is f***ing 5'6Well I guess Necas will move to 1st PP and someone from that PP line will hopefuly kick Kodytek out but still
Cmnon I really dont want to question Rulik again after last year lol, but Kodytek in favor of Klapka seems crazy
Kodytek, I think, is like Derek Ryan. He is good on draws and never quits. He's a C. So he will probably play 4c and be on PK.Well I guess Necas will move to 1st PP and someone from that PP line will hopefuly kick Kodytek out but still

Lauko will be in the lineup vs Switzerland, almost 100%. As for Klapka: The coaches said they want him do adapt to the big ice better. Which is not easy for such a tall player. I am pretty confident he will get his chance in the tournament.I'm gathering line 2 will be Zadina Spacek and necas. Line 1 is cervus, pasta and sedlak.
Kodytek will play every game.
Lauko and klapka may be eating shit here.lol
Also Canada picked up Bennington, schenn and danault lmao. They are a f***en juggernaut.
