Apparently my buffering issues are cable company capitalist throttling down. f*** that shit. Cancelled cable just now. Works great on TV’s not connected to cable. Glad the Kraken went with over the air for TV for the foreseeable future, so I won’t miss that.

Good show so far, but a dead dead dead thread.

There’s 7-8 regular AEW viewers here. There’s not a lot of activity on a good day.

I’m still struggling with the Moxley storyline. Maybe my smooth brain is struggling with comprehension, but I find it largely incoherent.

The depth of the roster was on full display. I didn’t even notice until now that Billy Goat was only seen in a promo not about him. Feels like the healthiest the main event scene has been in a while.

The stream from Max was crystal clear for me. Zero buffering and much better picture compared to Youtube TV. I'll likely watch from Max going forward.

Also liked that they did actual commercials instead of PiP. I've always found the Picture in Picture too small/distracting.. Apparently they kept PiP with the TBS broadcast.

Dynamite itself was OK -- the Ricochet/Swerve segment stood out.

Do you have the basic Max subscription or Ad Free? I've read that there were still commercials for people who paid for Ad Free and people are cranky over it

Ad-free -- understandable some would be upset, I guess I never really expected to be completely ad-free to begin with when it came to Live TV. To be honest, I've not watched any live TV on Max prior to this.

I have whatever the free version that comes with HBO subs, so I'm sure it has ads, and I would most likely just watch it on cable anyway, maybe they will adjust it moving forward and just don't have it figured out yet. Of course they have to make sure the announcers are aware to avoid any more issues like they had with the Spanish announcers a while back
