2025 7-Round Mock Draft 1.0 (Clock Starts Sun 1/19 at Noon ET)

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Pittsburgh Penguins Press Release

Pittsburgh Penguins President of Hockey Operations Kyle Dubas announced today that he is stepping down from the role of General Manager of the Pittsburgh Penguins.

"By stepping away from the GM role, it will allow me more time to focus on the broader picture as President of Hockey Operations. I have no doubt that under this new leadership structure, Pittsburgh will have great success!"

In his place, Dubas announced the hiring of Pittsburgh's 13th General Manager in franchise history:

"Lyle brings a wealth of experience and brand new perspective to our organization, and we are excited to see the direction he will be taking us", Dubas said.

Please feel free to claim 2nd teams. Ideally you'd have one team currently in the playoffs and one not, but there's no mandate.

Also spread the word to anyone who might be interested and would stay involved.

Have received several offers for Elias Pettersson but nothing I’m willing to pull the trigger on. Leaning towards moving Miller if either at this point. If you’re interested, shoot me a message.

Habs are continuing with their rebuild plan and have the goal of being a bubble team/in and out of the playoffs throughout the year next season.

Not looking to do anything too dramatic but open to hockey trades. Looking to add a third line center and a bottom pair RD as well.

We are thrilled to announce that Ivan Demidov has signed his ELC and has joined the team in Montreal!

We have also re-signed the following RFAs:
Rafael Harvey-Pinard: 1 year, 900k
Jakub Dobes: 2 years, 900k
Xavier Simoneau: 2 years 800k
Sean Farrell: 1 year 775K
William Trudeau: 2 years 800k

Ducks full update incoming. Listening to offers on John Gibson. Two years remaining at 6.4M and has been a top 10 goalie this year. Some retention is possible but there's no urgency to get a deal done at any cost.

Looking for a quality bottom/middle six center with strong faceoff numbers.

Would explore the possibility of moving someone like McTavish or Zegras in a deal for a star forward.

:canesHearing offers on Martin Necas. Looking for a decent return. Interested in young centers, young D, more established prospects...

Big offseason for Carolina with a lot of cap opening up and some vets' roles being filled with younger players.
