Carolina starting Andersen? Yikes.

Tkachuk up to usual shenanigans to start the game. That’s getting old.

I promise you that no "shenanigans" are more annoying are when Carolina commits an obvious penalty and Brind'Amour throws up his hands a gives a look like the refs just took his personal parking space.

I’m not the expert but I think Ottawa just got hosed on a goal.

Goaltending for both Ottawa/Carolina the difference today. Anderson excellent. Ullmark shaky on both goals.

Doesn’t Minnesota still have like 2 bad contracts that they still have to pay out like $10m a year for players that aren’t even on the team anymore?

Andersen somehow becomes a different person in the playoffs.

Stars looked hopeless.

Now Pens and Flyers in a battle of two teams I do not care for.

Overall I'm not overly excited about the playoffs this year. Us being out aside, I don't really have a team in the west I like enough to root for. I don't think the Lightning have the size/physical nature to go all the way. I don't like any of the other east teams.

It will likely come down to if it's not the Lightning, which team I hate least. Or maybe players I like.

To think a couple months ago I was trying to work my schedule so I could make it up for a playoff game at UBS.

I think Colorado was screwed over on a reviewed play where Doughty bumped a player into the goalie before a goal was scored so the goal was overturned.

It's fun watching Nelson play in the playoffs at least.

Edit: Ehh, it's so close. Maybe it was interference.

call on ice was correct.

good watching game.

as much as i want to pull for Brock - and do hope that Colorado advances, find myself pulling for the underdog while watching.

Tampa - Montreal game fun.

Thinking I should pull for Montreal to win the Stanley cup. I mean when we won our four Stanley cups the team that won the cup before us was Montreal..... So maybe if they win this year, we would win next year?

Watching power plays, particularly the one Montreal scored on just before the end of the second. The quick passing, and then the one time shot with no delay on the pass, is about the polar opposite of the isles PP. Incredible to see what works, and how the isles just can’t do anything even close to it. Even when the isles pass gets thru to a guy for a clear shot, the isles player will collect the puck and set up before taking a shot, giving the goalie way plenty time to get over and make a save. Unbelievable why isles guys have to dust off the puck before shooting.
