Howard's home town is a suburb of Minneapolis, but being the second closest team is still a reason he might be interested in playing here.

The fact that he knows so many of the other kids here, including his former linemate Frank, is a big selling point too. Potentially having spots available on the roster as well.

Certainly still interested in trading for him now if we can talk to him first, especially if he would come cheap.

For a professional athlete with their resources and millions on the line for their next contract it’s pretty irrelevant.

He’s not exactly going to be taking road trips home mid-season and offseason he’s got all the time in the world.
