For better or worse, it seems like all the Anaheim winds are blowing toward Quenneville at this point.

From a hockey perspective I love it, from a non-hockey perspective…ugh.

Minda feels nice to not be on this list or wishing my team was for a change.

That Anaheim job is the most interesting to me, the potential for that team to jump again is pretty high and whenever they make the playoffs they'll probably stay a strong playoff contender and then some for awhile. Wonder if Carle is interested if Anaheim offers him the job or if he's more happy where he's currently at for now

If they go with Q, I'll be exploring options for a new team in the west to follow. I'd rather take Cronin back and give him an extension. Not joking.

To this day I do not believe he's been fully honest about everything. And him publicly whining about why it was taking so long to be reinstated just makes me believe he still doesn't get it.

I'm biased as a Blackhawks fan but I really thought Carla would want the job. Good young core with the potential to get better and still lots of draft picks in the next year or two to a dd as well s maybe make a big trade. But he seems so highly sought after that he can choose his spot and even wait a year.

Anaheim I could see why he would go for it. Their rebuild is farther along and living in SoCal sounds pretty nice. Not a high pressure market either. Ownership seems fairly patient; every coach they've hired except Cronin has lasted at least four seasons. Thats pretty important for a guy with young kids.

I think it's NYR or Van.
If we assume the money would be the same aside from location which who knows if that's a factor or not, I think Vancouver makes more sense.
The obvious connection with JR and Allvin is a big one but when you look at the two teams both underachieved but at least Vancouver had some genuine excuses, where the rags had none of the injury issues to their stars like ke Vancouver, they also added a 100 point guy in JT and somehow finished behind Vancouver.

Nucks are younger, have one of the best player in the league and have a lot of cap and assets to add this summer.
The rangers seem to be trending downward and while they are not a bad team by any stretch, it just seems something is off with them and their best players are getting older and aren't flush with a lot of youth or cap space.

That being said, it seems the rangers usually get their guy so I probably wrote this for nothing and my hopes will be dashed.
