I hope they can't get the gardens together in time and push the game to Thursday because I can't make it to the game on Wednesday 😂😂

All seriousness tho, lakehead v western is always great and they didn't disappoint again. Winning two on the road, both comeback games is what playoff hockey is all about!

It would be better for the team to have the game bumped back to Thursday. They need the rest.

McGill vs Concordia starts on Wednesday. The Stingers eliminated the Redbirds last time they met in 2023. I remember the crowds were pretty good for the games.

Rd 2
OUA East
Concordia vs McGill - Concordia 3
Queens vs Ottawa - Ottawa 3

OUA West

Toronto vs Windsor - Windsor 3

We dominated ot just to get screwed I try not to harp on refs but that is unacceptable and then to just skate off no talk too the coach is gutless

On winning goal I saw 2 maybe 3 miss calls. 2TMU and 1 LU. However, you cannot allow guy that wide open in front of net on rebound

I was watching and missed the goal. Lot's of talk on Lakehead getting shafted.
Was this the only game that Lakehead will host in this best of three?

Correct. Lakehead had amazing opportunities in OT and didn’t cash. And you know what usually happens in OT

I saw same incident basically happen to OTech vs Ottawa

Another 2024 U Cup participant gone as Concordia scores two in the last 10 minutes, and then survives a penalty kill for the last two minutes, to eliminate McGill with a 5-4 win in game 3.

The top four teams in the OUA all advance. Concordia/Queen’s in the OUA East final and TMU/Toronto in the West final.

Concordia comes back wins 5-4 over McGill

OUA East Finals
1 Concordia vs 2 Queens

OUA West Finals
1 TMU vs 2 Toronto

An end to a disappointing season for the Redbirds. They had an excellent recruiting class on paper and had enough veterans to make a real run for the OUA title. Stingers should be favorites the rest of the way. Although Queen's surprised me against Ottawa.

TMU vs Toronto should be a feisty series. They had three fighting majors in their last match. Hope there is a bump in attendance.

Of course, with Ottawa eliminated the bronze medal winner will advance to the Nationals.

TMU completes sweep of Lakehead with 3-0 win. One more team eliminated from UCup contention.
Out of sympathy with their fanbase I really wanted to see Lakehead advance. They had fans fly in to Toronto for this game.

UofT 3 TMU 2 - Pretty crazy finish to this game. The Bold scored two goals in the final three minutes to tie it, only for the Varsity Blues to score the winner with seconds remaining.

Note - I may be wrong but I don’t think UofT has been to the Nationals since the early 90s.

3-2 Toronto over TMU

Toronto was up 2-0 , was better team overall till last 10 minutes of 3rd period where TMU took over and scored 2 goals to tie it up.

Robinson scores with 51 second left in 3rd for winner.

Bad rebound and zone coverage left Robinson wide open to right slot to burry open net
