Hatunke is super talented, definitely a guy who Windsor hopes that shows up in the future. Here’s a brief about him:

A premier offensive catalyst in the 2010 class, Hanutke is a highly cerebral, dual-threat center who constantly drives the pace of play. While he doesn't possess overwhelming size at 5'8" and 170 lbs, he thoroughly compensates with elite vision, high-end passing mechanics, and an incredibly sharp competitive engine away from the puck. He is a tactically sound defensive presence as an F3, excel-ling at hunting down pucks on the reload and maintaining the necessary structural positioning above the play to dictate transition defense. Between his advanced decision-making in high-traffic areas and a proven track record of elevating his game when the stakes are highest, he projects as a top-tier playmaker who can anchor a dynamic top line.

Reactions: Section 103
Jake Lamontagne is who Windsor goes with in R4.
Big D projects as a reliable top-four shutdown defenseman capable of anchoring a penalty kill and matching up against top-tier physical competition.

The description I read online said not overly physical but huge wing span and effective. Kind of reminds me of a speedy, offensive Sanvido. He was never that physical but he worked.

Garden 2.0?

They seem to be going after US players. Hard to say if these players will be planning on NCAA in 2 years. A link to Shattuck St. Mary's and Honey Baked could be a very good thing.

Second R7 pick is NTDP forward Jack Trupiano.

Power forward, dominant in the corners, not afraid of contact. Probably a kid that isn’t going to show until he’s a 18 year old

G Nolan Hardy in R8

From my knowledge was one of the best G in the age group for a little while. We’ll see if we can turn him into a player.

I'm intrigued by several picks, especially the ones up to and including Jolicoeur. I've seen some insight on them on X. Right now, we get into the "work hard and you'll earn a spot" territory. It doesn't matter if you're a fourth or 15th rounder... the job is yours to take if you earn it.

Should be lots of spots open..

Just a quick look at this... without the new additions, Windsor has left from last season.

Gaymes - Dubowsky - Harvey
Garden - Makysh - McLaughlin
Cristoforo - ?? - ??
?? - ?? - ??

Brown - Robinson
Walton - ??
?? - ??

(goaltending is likely Newlove/Windbiel but not certain)

Add:

Up front - Brocklehurst, Inskip, Bergeron, Svrcek, Whelan, Costello, Havusic
On D - Spicer, Gram, Debruyn

Now, it's looking like...

Brockehurst - Inskip - Harvey
Garden - Makysh - McLaughlin
Cristoforo - Svrcek - Whelan
Costello - Havusic - Bergeron (added)

Brown - Robinson
Walton - Spicer
Gram - Debruyn
??

(I don't think I'm missing anyone?!)

Do the fourth-round picks make it? That would shore up both the F and the D. If Wathier comes in, that's your 7th D. Plus, they have the Import Draft, which could go either way.
