Soo today article has a comment saying Jason Fortier may be the new coach. Does anyone have Intel on this?

we've pretty much been in the same boat for almost a decade, and i'm losing faith that the management is actually worried about putting together a winning program at the expense of 2 or 3 down years. i'm not sure that they understand that the fans would rather see a mem cup (or at least a league final) and support the team through 2 lean years, rather than just be decent every year. at least everyone i talk to would anywayHard to decipher valid candidates vs fan wishlists at this point.
In private discussions with JoeSchmo I've mentioned that I'm just trying to find something to feel optimistic about the future and I'm hoping the coaching choice will contribute to that. Whether or not management wants to admit it publicly, something has to change about the way they're doing things if we expect better results and a strong coach selection could facilitate that kind of change.
And the more championships or league finals you get, makes it a lot easier to recruit. Just ask those same bulldogs and the london knights. The more you win, the easier it gets to rebuild fasterwatching the bulldogs aggressively pursue a rebuild again while we do nothing isn't helping my pessimism. it's one of the reasons they've had OHL championships in 2018 and 2022, and are always at the top of the standings in the East imo.
