You know the GM is a clown when he is DMing fans on Twitter.
He DMd me after '23 and the loss to LDN which I appreciated. Just thanked me for my (at that time) support and positivity for the team.

Was a bit surprised he did this yr when I was going in pretty hard on them. Honestly feel like he was hoping I'd maybe change my tune & try to get others to feel the same way.

I've been very, very fair to him. Like Letang I held on longer than most did and even defended him at times. But like Letang he's gotten worse and worse. It's unfathomable he hasn't been fired frankly & it pisses me off Guy let him run the TDL which in turn resulted in trading Brown for Hawery. An idiotic, high risk, minimum reward deal.

Well it would appear Dylan did not like me stating my displeasure with his work, lol.
View attachment 1166391funny enough he DMd me earlier this season defending the Karimov move , the Pickell trade & Letang. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
I’ve seen it with other coaches and other teams to different extents but the mishandling of Karimov was one of the worst. The first couple times I watched him play I thought “Oh man, he is going to be trouble in the future.” Even later on when he was still buried in the lineup you’d see his potential. I was really surprised he cleared waivers too.

It's the single dumbest thing I've witnessed while attending Sting game (just under 20 years)

U took a kid top 10.
Hes showing elite flashes.
He was a projected NHL pick.
U absolutely sucked.

Couldn't get ice. Kid finally snapped and u cut him and badmouth him to the media.

Amateur hour 101. Now he's doing really solid in the W which makes me happy and a bit validated lol.

I thought they played well, reffing was garbage and completely decided that game

The assist from the ref was cherry on top

The team doesn't need help losing & they certainly got some help tonight lol. Goal taken away and given by the stripes.

A 2 goal deficit feels like a 5 goal deficit with this team. It's so painful to watch. You'll never see a more routine 26/28 for a goalie.

Only 23 games left mercifully.

Well, if you are looking for positives (we got a real low bar) this is the best Lammens, K. Aucoin & Challenger have played.

All three have stood out recently IMO.

Lammens has been all around it. Taking penalties, drawing penalties, creating chaos & getting points.

K. Aucoin has really upped his play. Jumping up more, getting more chances & I'm loving his chippy/rough play.

Challenger is actually rather good at puck protection & board play. He's been moving his feet a lot more & it's made him way more noticable. Hopefully a sign he's putting it together.

On the prospect front

Myles Dunn is having himself a weekend. 1st GOHL hat-trick yesterday then he out does himself tonight with 2G/2A. Now has 22G/26A in 37GP. 10th in league scoring, most goals of any 16 or 17 year old.

Olivier Romain on an actual team is off to a strong start with 5PT in 5GP for London.

Getting that deep in the crease and hitting the goalie, comical to challenge that.

Also, already forgot about this, eh?

About the same amount of contact lol. Both were comedic. We suck so much I could only laugh.

Just not a fan of embellishing. Especially when it gets rewarded.

We sit in the end section , saw the play . Referee could have avoided all the problems if he had called goalie interference on Lammens , which was painfully obvious and call embellishment on goalie , disallow goal. Just don't understand Turcotte asking for review , he wasn't going to win that one . Refereeing was pretty bad , those 2 need to go back to Junior B or C . The Sting don't need any help losing games

This has gotta be the single worst year in Sarnia history so far... not wins and points wise but just overall incompetence ... and thats saying something because one year the sting literally drafted bad players on purpose.... Now the icing on the cake is DiIorio and Edwards draft stock are getting hammered... Ive seen some lists that have neither of them in the 1st round...This cant be allowed to continue.... It's funny because most of us saw this coming.

Would have to think that guys want out this offseason and top talent won’t commit to Sarnia in the draft. Pretty much every guy that leaves the sting flourishes. Ryan Brown must feel like he has died and gone to heaven. The Sting have always had their troubles and are historically bad… but this is a new low. Seca has ran this team into the ground and new ownership has continued to let him. He should not have been allowed to make those awful Fischer and Ryan Brown trades. Fleeced badly in both. Pretty much everyone knew it at the time. Turcotte might be a decent coach but it shouldn’t be here. Hes not the guy.

Sarnia needs a full house cleaning. You fire Seca, conduct a real process finding the best GM possible and allow that GM to either keep Turcotte or bring in his own guy. You can’t hire a GM and marry him to a coach you have to allow that GM to bring in his coach if he wants. Every day that Seca continues to be employed is a slap in the face to the Sarnia fan base.

A guy I would look at bringing in if I were Sarnia is Jason Clarke head coach of Cape Breton. Offer him the GM job and chance to coach if he wants. He owned and ran the very successful Carleton place canadiens for several years. Doing a nice job with Cape Breton this year.

Why hasn’t Sarnia looked at getting the Abbott brothers as coach and GM? They are from Sarnia. Chris is VP pro personnel for Carolina hurricanes after being GM for a number of years in Sweden. Cam recently got fired as HC of Chicago wolves despite a good startand went back to Sweden to be a head coach there. You’re telling me these 2 aren’t a huge upgrade for Sarnia??

I would have been a huge fan of this .... I wanted Abbott back before they hired Letang and then when they fired him... but I think Turcotte is the guy moving forward.... you could get Abbott, Turcotte, or Scottie Bowman ... it wont make a different because the roster is terrible and isn't good moving forward either...

At the end of the day if u have any sort of track record, or established job why would u wanna go manage, or coach the Sarnia Sting?

A year ago maybe you could've been talked into a promising young core with new owners. A year later this team is absolutely hopeless with a bleak future & the GM has been allowed to make it worse.

I was thinking that earlier... if youre a young coach or even an established coach looking to make a name or eventually go to the nhl or something, Sarnia is not the spot to go... I cant think of one coach that ever did good in Sarnia and moved on to the NHL or AHL? like not one in 30 plus years.Maybe Chris Lazary is the only one I can think of.... literally all of Sarnia's coaches except for him have either stepped down or been fired...

Mark Hunter was coach in Sarnia from 1994 until 1996 and from 1997 until 2000. He had a good record in the regular season however they only won one playoff series in the five seasons he was coach.
