With Peterborough taking multiple runs at McIvor in the game (not in any way trying to play down what he did that was brutal) I have seen a couple people on X say put AK8 in to make sure no one touches our goalie... What do all of you think about that as I know there isn't much love for him on here

It should not have to be Karmanov coming in. If your goalie is getting run, whether you are 7'0 or 5'11 you're going in there throwing.. As someone who watched the game, I don't know if I would say there was "multiple runs at McIvor" . Maybe going to the net hard but it's playoff hockey. Him throwing that punch with a blocker especially, could be the dumbest penalty I have ever witnessed in a hockey game, let alone a penalty a goalie took. Regardless of a suspension or not, that very well could have been his last time we see him in the playoffs

Maybe even the last time as a Battalion. He has been at multiple Anaheim camps they could sign him.

I was going to say that, but was not sure how that would be perceived. with the play of Lisson down the stretch and future of Vreugdenhill, it certainly makes for interesting decision's

AK8 is a project and not ready. NL19 should be the one He supposedly is the most ready player the coach as said is ready for pro ranks.

Absolutely not. He is not ready for playoff hockey. He really isn’t feared in the league aside from guys not wanting to get crunched along the boards. His only fight had 0 punches landed. None of hits are game changing.

Fairly certain MM34 has made it know he'd like to play elsewhere next season. Unfortunately it seems like Lisson is also gone to college next season. Would be a shame to lose both 06 goalies.

AE4 and CK15 two good ol Ottawa area boys are the answer for toughness. BR25 really isn’t that guy as much as I wish he was.

11/7 is no good for the playoffs. Rolling 4 lines was working. Pronin played great, adds a consistent punch to line 4.

Harper made a couple of great defensive plays along with the usual bailout when he’s about to get hit a couple of times. Greer als made a few great defensive plays over the last couple of games as well.

We need to get in Rye’s kitchen similarly to how our goalies are being visited on the regular.

McCallum is a much better hockey player, tougher and better fighter than people give him credit for. He’s not as soft as goose like his big brother.

Mr Dennis hopefully has contacted the league about the constant “activity” in and around our crease. Either that or make sure that they make Hollywood Rye’s night as miserable as possible. The only time there has been any activity in his crease is when poor Rye got shot from the rafters by a sniper in the 2nd period of game 3

The Peters found a way to win another tight game. Rye was amazing and you need your top guys to step up and Walton, Novotny, Cameron and Petrovsky are all doing that. But all four lines and all D are working hard. Been impressed with Hammond’s hustle and Fraser’s physicality. It’s nice to roll four lines even if they are hybrid. Too bad about Soto , a key player for the Petes , hopefully he’s back soon.
