The trade window has been open about a week now and nothing from the Rangers.
I’d have thought MM would’ve taken this opportunity to make a move or two.
Still a few days left.
I think it's a little early to make a decision what direction to take the team next season. Unsure exactly what moves would be expected right now.

You don’t need to know which direction to take the team next season to make a trade or two to gain draft pick(s) for this draft.

Campbell yes.

Dirracolo? He may be back. Sure he has that commitment, but depending on the minutes available at St Lawrence next year to a 20 year old oft healthy scratch in the post season at this level, his commitment may be pushed out a year. And understandably so.

I’d expect a big year for Forrest. 25-26 Bilecki type responsibilities at minimum.

Seems we’ve been drafting and stashing imports for a while now. Not our choice though.

Interesting that last round 2024 draft pick D Ryker Young got into that last game of the year in OS but 2024 4th rounder D Gaitens did not. Seems he had a good year finishing up with Cambridge.

Do we read between the lines that we aren’t high on Gaitens or was he just injured? Based on his numbers, he’d be a decent option next year.
st lawrence is no good, they will want him asap, up to him to decide if he wants to stay

I thought the Rangers received a compensatory pick at the end of round 2 for declaring Barch defected and trading his rights to London, but don't see it on the OHL U16 draft results page. Did I dream that, or is the pick given for next year or something?

Jussi was recently on a podcast with Leafs Morning Take and they asked him if he had any talks with the Leafs at all and he said no. They also asked him what he thinks will happen for him to get to the NHL and he mentioned he does still have 1 year left on his contract with Kitchener and that he may have to be an AHL head coach or an NHL assistant before he becomes and NHL head coach.

Still even with a great batting average we like to see real sources. Poster insiders like to post these vague so called facts. It's like seeing a sasquatch. They always blurry.
Believe em or don't. If they have a track record then maybe there's more weight to what they say. But people can't just go posting "I talked to X directly" because that's how you lose access to those sources. I get that the trend of insiders can be a bit tiring but you learn to sift through who is credible or not.
