  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Xenforo Cloud is upgrading us to version 2.3.11 on Monday July 20, 2026 at 12:00 AM PST. Expect a temporary downtime during this process. More info here
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.

Figured I'd make a thread rather than updating it in random threads each time. I'll use this thread to keep track of the attendance for Flyers home games for this year, just so we can sit and laugh. Capacity is based of 19,173.

Current home record: 8-4-2

The last game I went to Steve Mason was still the goalie. I think it was his last season here to be honest. They got drubbed in a game against Pittsburgh.

It’s been that long for me.
Last game I went to was the Nashville game where at one point they had Provorov, Gudas, and McDonald in the box. I was in the old nosebleed suites which rocked before they ripped them out.

My dad used to get corporate tix right behind the penalty box now and then at the Spectrum. It was something else to be so close to the action. Also, that stadium was loud. There wasn't the multitude of corporate boxes, commercialization and passive fans the new arena ushered in. They priced out a lot of the hard core fans and gave them the Phantoms and 3 hotdogs and 3 coke deals...

The shit talk between the opposing players in the box and even between the fans and the opposing team was the most epic experience for me. It stinks the Flyers experience has become so watered down for a multitude of reasons....down with Comcrap and the cronyarchy!

i went to a PO game one year..against Montreal i am sure...loudest building i have ever been in..place was shaking...good times

Last game I went to I met Jake Elliott and took a picture with him between periods.

Rookie kicker with zero Super Bowl rings at the time. But he just hit a 61 yard game-winning field goal a month before that.

I haven't been to a game since 2019 but I've only ever been to two NHL games period. I'd love to go to another Flyers game even with the team sucking, but between the price and the time needed (game time plus travel to and from is basically an all day affair) it's not that easy.

Was away last week, so didn't get around to updating the chart until now, but a Saturday afternoon game, usually gets people in the seats, and a game against the best player in the world, seemed to help boost attendance. Not surprising that there was a dip last night, but still a good number for a Thursday night game against a Western Conference team.

Through 12 games, we have an attendance figure of 205,880 with a max capacity of 230,076, giving us an average capacity of 17,157, or 89.48%, per game

Updated the first post with the NJ and Pit games. Surprised last nights game was the lowest attended game since the Calgary game a month ago. We're sitting at 90.01% average capacity on the season, with an average attendance of 17,257

It would be great if we could also get a breakdown of away fans that are making up that attendance. Penguins fans seem to outnumber Flyers fans in Philly in recent years.
Sadly only the Flyers will have that level of demographics broken down in some capacity.

Obvious statement there but I can say there have been fans of opposing teams that in past years you wouldn't even dream of hearing a peep from. Now you hear them roar when their team scores. I'm talking Islanders, Panthers, and Senators fans in Philadelphia. Now there's always been fans of opposing teams in the building but you wouldn't hear a loud ovation ever when the other team scored outside of the occasional Pens game. Sound carries in an empty stadium.

2019 last home game in Philly. However was at the Amerent Bank Arena last Wednesday to see the Flyers beat the Panthers 4-2. I live here in the swamplands of FL. Trivia: Iguanas are not native animals of FL. In fact a team from pest control comes every month in our neighborhood to trap them. What they do with them is anyone’s guess. One really old lady [ I’m considered young] yelling at them saying “ they are so cute, how can you be so mean?”. We all received an email from had our wonderfully corrupt and nasty HOA the next day stating anyone hindering the pest control people will be fined. We have only 3 warnings from the Gestapo for having 1. Too many pots in the front yard 2. Not the correct plants on either side of the garage door 3. The wrong electric bulbs on our garage lights

The good news is the temp today is 80 degrees F and unlike you guys in Philly not snowing.
