That means that UPEI will have to spend money for a Friday night hotel and Saturday meals.

Pretty balanced schedule again this year...
- same 18/12 split we've had over the past few years
- with 3/2 split in games vs opponents before and after the Christmas break.
- every block of six games is against a unique opponent
- only one Home-Away back to back weekend for UNB (X/DAL Games 23/24 and 25/26)
- last two games of block 4 and first two games of block 5
- since UPEI is the travel partner, they have the same two weekends
UNB starting at home vs DAL night may allow them to keep their home opener streak alive.
As much as having 7 teams in the league doesn't lend itself to a simple schedule (like having 8) the league has done a great job of making sure the schedule is balanced and fair for everyone.

I think we are all sleeping on how well Dal has recruited under the new rules … The Carruthers commitment says a lot about where the talent pool is at and also backs up the point I’ve been making that high end Jr.A guys and low end CHL guys are pretty much one in the same (he by no

Going through the guys they’ve added they have some really good tier.2 kids coming …. plus Bujold despite missing a year is as good as anyone you are getting out of the CHL now .
Obviously it’s all speculation as we don’t know what the big dogs will add but it’s looking like a pretty good haul.

Perhaps they weren’t originally very interested and set their sights higher…but then circled back when other options fell through. Wouldn’t be the first time that happened.
