Prospects that will be participating :

Gabe Perreault (USA)
Drew Fortescue (USA)
Adam Sykora (SVK)

(Forgetting anyone?)

Starts on December 26th, pre-games have begun. USA plays Canada in a pregame on the 23rd on ESPN+. They also have a pregame tonight vs Sweden.

I’ll post the full schedule soon.

I'm beeing stupid. NYR got some exciting prospects on the USA team, Norway got their best team ever, and it happens less then a 2 hour drive from where i live, and I messed it up by agreeing to work or doing family stuff all the days during the group stage.

FWIW, the only other players who are eligible for this year's WJC:

Canada; Dylan Roobroeck, Bryce McConnell-Barker
USA: Ty Henricks
Sweden: Rasmus Larsson

None of them made it.

No.

McConnell-Barker has the disadvantage that he's Canadian. That's the toughest team to make.

Roobroeck, Henricks and Larsson are late-round picks who aren't expected to make their teams.

Of course there are expections. Noah Laba last year was a huge surprise, for instance.

Not that he was going to be involved anyway, but BMB is out with a concussion after he took a nasty elbow to the head from a guy named Sawyer Boulton (one of Eric Boulton's kids).

Lack of response after the goal was scored. No one went after Boulton. Sounds familiar

Right, and eyes go to the net with the puck, unless you already know something happens. If you watch the clip, you'll see the announcers didn't know what happened until they saw the replay.

I skipped to the 25 minute mark and it was still brutal. I skipped ahead a bit and it didn't get much better.
