Mystics were playing for a chance to make the playoffs.

1 New York vs. 8 Atlanta
2 Minnesota vs. 7 Phoenix
3 Connecticut vs. 6 Indiana
4 Las Vegas vs. 5 Seattle

First round is best of 3

The thing that isn't mentioned is that she also leads the league in turnovers by a wide margin. 5.6 per game which is pretty bad.
From the games I've seen, the whole team is very prone to turnovers, only 3 teams had more per game and none of them made the playoffs. Clark also makes passes that male players would have no problem catching because they're harder and require a fair bit skill to catch. Her team mates, with a few exceptions, are often not ready for them or have enough skill.

She also got drafted onto a terrible team. It shouldn't be a surprise they fumble her passes more often than a good team would.

All the home teams won. Lower seed has to win a road game to get their playoff game at home.

Sun knocks out Fever in two straight games. Why would you have a best-of-three series with one team possibly not having a home game?
I think lowering travel costs was the idea.

Sucks that Caitlin is out, but now she can have a well deserved off-season. Probably not great for viewership though.
