AJ Brown, on the Redskins future.

"You're really like a couple players off. Ya'll just got a really good quarterback. Ya'll get another couple pieces-ya'll get a key piece on defense though, ya'll really be in the dance for it–for real–every year. It's ya'll quarterback, bro, you're quarterback is nice. So when you got a dog like that–now you add him with another wideout to add to Terry (McLaurin), get you another defensive player...that's what you need, you need that D-Line–work on that D-Line, you'll be good."
A.J. Brown via SI

When are people going to accept that McLaurin is pretty cooked? He’s got 4 TDs in his last 19 games, while we’re out here panning Daniels for not throwing any.

Both he and Dotson looked bad as the one two punch. Glad we got rid of Jahan. I’ve loved TM as much as the next guy, but he looks like he’s fading fast.
I would like to formally serve myself a plate of crow. The only reason I didn’t do it during the season was I didn’t want to reverse jinx.

Terry for President.

Love him and always have except a brief period of insanity surrounding this post. I legitimately thought he was fading and I was legitimately wrong.

He not wrong.

Dude is a beast and a winner. He will eat his own face to gain an extra yard.
I definitely like me some Skattebo. This RB class is fun and really deep. Like at least 12 quality guys. Really like Henderson. Look forward to diving more into the guys that I don’t know well.

That kid from Tennessee intrigues me - Dylan Sampson. Explosive player, runs a 4.35. Also a good receiving threat - versatile weapon that you can line up anywhere.

Yeah, this is definitely a draft to pick up an RB.

Sad news to report, for anyone that spent even a minute over on CPND. PCinOz, aka Robert Large, passed away on Jan 16th. He was at the front of the JD train and I hopped on board after watching the four full games he reviewed every play of JD vs the top four defenses he played. He was also an unparalleled salary cap expert. He was knowledgeable, kind and passionate and he will be missed, a lot.
Very sad. Used to talk to him all the time. Stopped going to CPND a while ago but we still followed each other on twitter and interacted occasionally. He was a cap wizard.

Wow, somehow I missed the sticky in CPND. I know he was battling some health issues but I was thinking he would be fine. RIP to him. He was the only person I know who said JD would be the best QB from last year's draft.

Don't get me wrong there are different varieties of #1 RBs. If one does not have break away speed I want quickness and the first step change of direction burst.
Check out Devin Neal from Kansas. He destroyed Colorado this year (4 TDs, almost 300 tot yds)

Reminds me of Le’Veon Bell. Outstanding patience and vision. Maybe not the best top-end speed, but great lateral quickness and sudden acceleration.

Woof. This was back in August.

Which NFL teams have the best coaching staffs? We ranked them from 1 to 32

31.

Head coach: Dan Quinn
Offensive coordinator: Kliff Kingsbury
Defensive coordinator: Joe Whitt Jr.

Listen. This is not good.

Quinn is a players' coach, and he has a system he has run into the ground -- he knows the ins and the outs of it, and he can get it on the field quickly and cleanly. The problem is every good offensive coordinator in the league knows how this defense works -- four down, zone coverages, certain checks against certain formations -- and can find success accordingly. Quinn's "line up and play fast" approach can work with a souped-up roster like the one enjoyed in Dallas, where stars such as Micah Parsons, Trevon Diggs and DaRon Bland could line up and beat the guy across from them. In Washington, where the defensive roster is really thin? The Quinn shtick won't work as easily.
