I am still so confused by WTF Ben Johnson was thinking last night. Looking at the stats, they were absolutely gashing us on the run. Gibbs averaged 7.5 yards per carry. Their TEs were wide open on most plays, they were killing us in the intermediate pass game. Not saying with competent play calling they would have won (our offense was also a juggernaut) but the game would have been down to the wire. Detroit fans must be livid.

Perhaps this team gets some respect now. They looked like they were going to score every time the offense got the ball and they carved up that defense.

Never bet against an elite QB.

I'm convinced the dude has a chronic need to show everyone just how smart he is. They had 8 games during the regular season where Gibbs carried the ball more than 14 times. We couldn't stop him consistently, and instead, he decided to chuck the ball around with a QB who got his bell rung, and run trick plays. f*** that guy.

I'm convinced the dude has a chronic need to show everyone just how smart he is. They had 8 games during the regular season where Gibbs carried the ball more than 14 times. We couldn't stop him consistently, and instead, he decided to chuck the ball around with a QB who got his bell rung, and run trick plays. f*** that guy.

Well to be fair, their running game was predicated on the sonic and knuckles combo approach. Montgomery was the starter for the 14 games during the season he played and neither had tremendous individual rushing yards but combined they had 28 rushing touchdowns and almost 2200 rushing yards. So…
