On the bright side, we helped Ben Johnson along on his decision to take a HC job.
Thanks for turning us down, you f***wad!
You kill me, you really doI would bet on Glenn making effective adjustments over Whitt, because our second half defense this season has been even worse than the first half.
I'm officially in uncharted territory, I have never seen this team play in an NFC Championship game.
I dunno. This doesn’t even really feel real, if I’m being honest with myself. Like not at all. From 82-91 they played in 5 NFC Championship games, and won 4 of them. It was glorious.
This feels... better? After the misery of the last 23 years, this feels like winning the lottery.
I grew up on stories of those glory days, happy to be witnessing it first hand now. From 82-91 they played in 5 NFC Championship games, and won 4 of them. It was glorious.

*maybe* it feels like 82-83. Their first one. Because it was so out of the blue and they had never won shit.
Man, that was a long time ago.
The fun is only made more sweet with the terrible years in mind. Then 34 utterly miserable years go by and now this. This is the most amazing thing, remembering how fun it all can be.
I was really young for the 82-83 SB teams. Though I vaguely remember a party at my aunt’s for the 83 loss.I was a sophomore in high school that year (82-83). It felt cool, but I had no idea how special it was then. I didn't know shit.
Then they won that SB, then vs Denver in 87, then after the 1992 Super Bowl, Joe Jacoby was in the victorious locker room, explaining to the interviewer "you just don't understand how hard it is to get here and to win it"... I kinda just assumed we'd always be Super Bowl contenders. Then 34 utterly miserable years go by and now this. This is the most amazing thing, remembering how fun it all can be.
Pin in to his forehead when you see himI put a Commanders pennant up in my office last summer. A coworker literally laughed at me. Can't wait to see that dude this week.
