Completely unsurprised by JD5 -- all he did was do exactly what he does.

But the OL completely stepped up, both in protection and opening running lanes. The RBs flashed back to the first half of the season and made huge plays. And the D got beat up by the best O in the league, but they stayed in the fight and turned them over again and again.

The whole team stepped the **** up across the board.

I'm officially in uncharted territory, I have never seen this team play in an NFC Championship game.

From 82-91 they played in 5 NFC Championship games, and won 4 of them. It was glorious.

This feels... better? After the misery of the last 23 years, this feels like winning the lottery.

I dunno. This doesn’t even really feel real, if I’m being honest with myself. Like not at all.

*maybe* it feels like 82-83. Their first one. Because it was so out of the blue and they had never won shit.

Man, that was a long time ago.

I was a sophomore in high school that year (82-83). It felt cool, but I had no idea how special it was then. I didn't know shit.

Then they won that SB, then vs Denver in 87, then after the 1992 Super Bowl, Joe Jacoby was in the victorious locker room, explaining to the interviewer "you just don't understand how hard it is to get here and to win it"... I kinda just assumed we'd always be Super Bowl contenders. Then 34 utterly miserable years go by and now this. This is the most amazing thing, remembering how fun it all can be.

I remember the Super Bowls but I wasn't really a fan yet. I grew up with a Giants fan dad, so not a Redskins household. I really got into them during the Richie Petitbon year.

Great timing.

The fun is only made more sweet with the terrible years in mind.

I was reflecting post game, I think that was the most enjoyable game of football I have ever watched. I can't think of a better Washington game in my lifetime, and then my local CFL team has only delivered heartbreak since the 90s.

Hail to the Redskins! Just watched the game and I don’t believe what I just saw. Daniels is already a legend, and already passed the flash in the pan RGsomething. Sainristil, Martin and Chinn should never buy a drink in DC again. I still hate all the fourth down plays, but we don’t have a good kicker and it’s working. Dan Quinn is now my second favorite coach behind Gibbs. What he has done with this team is amazing.

JD now has more playoff wins then any QB since Dug Williams. Let that soak for a bit.

I was really young for the 82-83 SB teams. Though I vaguely remember a party at my aunt’s for the 83 loss.

But 87, and especially 91, I was along for the ride. 91 season was one of the greatest sporting experiences of my life, still to this today. Just an absolute juggernaut.

I also assumed that we’d be back every few years, with maybe the Giants getting one here and there. Little did we know we wouldn’t be back to the NFCCG until we were middle aged dudes.

I always text my sister during games and she was literally crying tonight. Totally wild and beautiful stuff.
