OT: 2024 Washington Commanders thread: change we can believe in!

Lot's in here to give hope to keeping KK for at least one more year.

"I don't know if I've ever had a more enjoyable season than I have this year," Kingsbury said.

Me neither, Kliff, me neither. The last time I felt this kind of joy about a Redskins season was 1991. For those that weren't around, it was absolute magic from start to finish. Just like this season.

Also:

DURING HIS WEEKLY session with reporters on Jan. 2, Kingsbury was asked if he was ready to field all the head coaching questions that were bound to come his way. Kingsbury, who was seated in a chair against the wall, smiled as he started to stand.

"It would take a lot to leave this kid," he said.

Anyone know which "kid" he's referring to?

"I didn't get into this to be a head coach again," Kingsbury told ESPN last month. "It's not about money. It never has been about money. So, that won't move me at all. It's just I want to do the best job we can here for those guys and then kind of go from there."
I love this man!

He’s set financially, so his next move should be about being more prepared for his next HC job, and getting into a decent situation with a new team….promising QB, good cap situation, ownership, GM, etc…kinda like what’s he’s got here already…

He’s saying all the things you want to hear so far.

Back to Tyreek Hill. Apparently he's patched things up with the Finns. Plus there is this.

Hill, who broke his wrist during a scrimmage against the Washington Commanders in training camp, battled through the injury and remained determined to play the 2024 season despite doctors telling him that the injury could affect his entire career, according to Rosenhaus.

Doctors at the time recommended season-ending wrist surgery, which Rosenhaus confirmed that Hill declined.

“The doctors all said: ‘It’s going to be painful. It could impact your entire career. If you don’t get it done now, you may not be able to fix it all the way,’” Rosenhaus said. “Tyreek said: ‘Hey, to heck with it. I’m a team guy, I’m going for it.’”

Kinda an idiot.
