Maye and JD could be the next Allen and Mahomes. They're both up there but JD seems like the guy who has "it" instead of "it potential".

High/low points from the post game stats:

HIGH: J. Newton w/ 1 sack and 3 TFLs (You know, besides the 5 TD throws from the rookie...)

LOW: RB's combined for 32 yards on 15 carries w/ 2 fumbles. (One week after contributing 71 yards on 24 carries. So, they followed up their worst outing of the season by averaging one less yard per carry and turning it over twice.)

We really have to get the running game outside of JD back on track these last 2 weeks.

Orlovsky’s been gushing over our boy today. Nice little analysis of the TD to Terry. Didn’t realize how little time JD had to get rid of it before getting clobbered. Very similar to the throw on MNF @ Cincy.

He also had this tweet:

“Jayden Daniels’ tape is as good as Joe Burrows rookie tape as good as CJ Strouds rookie tape

Kid is an absolute star.”

I'll simplify this even further for pencil man: This was a route to the pylon all the way. Terry was first read and JD simply looked off the safety for a split second (and confirmed man coverage) before throwing to the pylon, after also confirming that Terry had leverage on the route because the DB hadn't turned his hips yet.

I woke up this morning and am having trouble believing this weekend happened. The Senate passes a bill with no time left on the clock allowing the Commies to come back to DC and then the team plays the weirdest game I can remember watching resulting in a double-digit comeback win against a top five team in the NFL. And I don’t have to work today, so I can spend all morning doing Christmas stuff and listening to Get Up and the other talking heads gush over Jayden and company. Feels like I’m in a weird alternate reality.

The only thing remotely troubling about yesterday was Lattimore going out hurt. That guy is the real deal. Please be/get healthy.

Finally got a chance to watch the highlights cause my Christmas is today so I was picking up my bro at the airport during the game. Baw gawd, Jayden Daniels is an absolute stud. His legend is growing by the minute, and I'm going to say it, he may be the best QB in the NFL right now, considering how poor his supporting cast is. Prove me wrong!

Sucks that Lattimore got toasted a lot then hurt. Hope he's OK, not optimistic.
