got blocked by Elon 😭

odd shit happens when I'm on vacation because before I left for the West Coast everything looked promising.

Elon was Tweeting that the bill contained $3B in federal funds to build the new stadium, which is a complete lie, there were no federal funds in the bill for the stadium.
Its getting absurd, how misinformation and lies just propagate without resistance.

Whenever I see Herbert doing his thing I get more mad that the Chargers insist on being such a run based team. Get that man some receivers.
He had Mike Williams and Keenan Allen for years but they were always getting hurt, LAC ownership are notoriously cheap so they probably said "well f*** wasting money on these fragile WRs".

Elon just deliberately lies. Pretty clear despite the technical achievements he has a shriveled tiny soul.

Just to confirm, you read the 1547 page CR or you are getting this information from somewhere else? I certainly did not read it so have no idea. But since the last CR was only 85 pages long this one definitely seems likely to contain a whole lot of pork that nobody knows about.

District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser addressed the situation at an event commemorating the start of an $800 million downtown arena renovation for the NBA’s Wizards and NHL’s Capitals earlier in the day. She tried to refute incorrect reports amplified by Musk on his social media platform X, formerly Twitter, about the cost of the RFK Stadium provision, and pleaded her case for why the land transfer was good for the city after bipartisan negotiation.

THE ANSWER

This is false.

No, the original version of the Congressional stopgap bill didn’t allocate $3 billion for an NFL stadium.

WHAT WE FOUND

The spending bill, proposed on Dec. 17, authorizes the transfer of administrative control of the RFK Stadium site in Washington, D.C. from the federal government to the District of Columbia, which could potentially lead to a new stadium for the NFL’s Washington Commanders. The bill explicitly states no federal funds would be allocated for the construction of a new stadium.

I searched it….and there is a statement prohibiting funding.

Well, sure, if you want to believe the biased AP over the billionaire who bought Twitter so he could have his own personal propaganda platform.

I provided the link and searched myself. It’s prohibited specifically. Page 233 section 4h.

I find the attempt to discredit without doing any research yourself (not you specifically), as weak AF in debating101.

Welp this a good test for Kliff this week. Lets see if he stubbornly and purposefully leaves McLaurin lined up against the likely defensive rookie of the year corner Mitchell who does NOT travel. Noah is out, Ertz likely out, Luke and Ben completely MIA from game plans... will he lean on Olamide Dyami and Crowder to beat the shit birds?

Or do what a normal OC does and move their best WR away from top tier shutdown corners.

Yes obviously I have Jayden and Terry in my fantasy starting lineup and don't want another 1 for 10 from Terry.

The local beatniks were all up in arms about the lies coming from those with the loudest voices.
