You just knew the defense was going to F this up. Making Rattker look like Joe Burrow. And St. Juste, that guy cannot he dumped fast enough Not only sucks instinctively but has a football IQ of 50.

We haven’t seen enough defensive lineman, getting their arms up like that.

This is all true and all, but I spent years assuring the Ravens and Eagles fans in my family that they have no idea how fortunate they are to have spent this much time winning so often that they have the luxury of worrying about how they are winning.

In one year we get to do that too, which is wild.

Edit: ^^Ah shit what AM8 said

The "you can do better" is more on the "everybody sucks" theme of all your posts. When all you do is criticize, it renders the vast majority of it moot. Complaining that the QB overthrew or underthrew the shots and almost cost us the game when the receiver should have caught the second and could have caught the third -- which also should have been called PI because the defender threw his arm in early and never looked for the ball -- is tiresome.

Find something good. Something. About anybody. Post it. Just try it once. It'll make you feel good.
What a bunch of nonsense you’re spewing. The receiver shouldn’t have caught the second because the defender got his hand in there when Mclauren had to slow down. The point being Jayden may have thrown one deep post pattern all season that was dead on. It’s something he needs to work on, period. Yes he’s a good QB but some of the “game saving” stuff people rave about have been offset by things like that as well as not throwing to spots (rather than waiting for the receiver to get open). He’s over focused on not wanting to throw INTs and completion percentage.

I’ve praised Daniels multiple times, I’ve praised CMM, I’ve praised PLD, I’ve praised Carbury. Heck I thought Sandin was better than some were saying before people started getting on board. You’re cherry picking.

Well, you've lost track of your pass complaints -- the second was the route where TML slowed on the route and missed the throw by literal fingertips, the third was the one where the ball was slightly underthrown but catchable if the defender doesn't interfere. Two of three long passes, catchable. They were. There are receivers in the league who would have caught either or both. There are. I love Terry, my favorite Redballer of his era on the team, but he's a top-10 to 12 WR, not a top 5 guy.

Regardless, of those three passes, I trust the former pro QBs and coaches who break down film after games more than you, who makes statements about what the QB is not doing real-time, based on the telecast. No offense, I just think they happen to know what they're talking about is all. Watch some. You'll see plenty of throwing to spots, looking defenders off, moving coverages -- things you say he doesn't do because you can't see it live on the network feed.

I also noticed you couldn't come up with any other football players that you've complimented in the football thread. Which is... odd. I think perhaps you're cherry picking, since you can only come up with Caps names in response to a football post in the football thread.

So I have no doubt you'll continue to "spew" your Eeyore-esque misery every Sunday, but here's hoping maybe you can start finding a name of a football player (on our team, preferably) to praise every now and again.

Lol, I said JD has a hand in a potential loss and you’re calling me Eeyore. I didn’t say he sucked, my point is that the narrative that he bears no blame in losses or near losses is untrue. Only guy I have said stinks is BSJ. Other than that, Whitt and the defense which lets teams regularly march up and down every second half. I’ve questioned why Peter’s’ 2nd and 3rd round picks can’t get plays or receptions on a team not being exactly teeming with receiving talent. Legitimate questions. I’ve praised BR, Luvu. I’ve said I don’t see a lot of production from Newton but he deserves the benefit of another year to develop. Etc etc.

Again, you’re cherry picking/hyperbolizing while getting personal. It’s an F’ing sports forum For people to give opinions, maybe you’re the one who needs to learn to chill .

A bit surprised at the negative reaction to yesterday’s win by the media and fans, which I guess is good considering “we won but it shouldn’t have been that close” is a standard we haven’t had in a long time.

Playing without Biadacz clearly hampered the run game and pass protection. The dude is a monster. And the refs were awful, did everything in their power to keep the game close.

Winning is hard, especially in December and on the road. They won yesterday and pretty much lock up a playoff spot with one more win, assuming nothing fluky happens.
Bolded I completely agree and when I heard he was a last minute scratch knew the O line play would not be as good overall. Lot of sacks but I give credit to NO's pass defense on a few replays seeing what JD saw he had no where to go and sometimes can't weasel out of the pocket for a run. Also two missed feel goals if I remember correctly. That stupid hold on 67 on the last offense series. That 2nd Fowler roughing were rough calls that tightened things up.
