Thanks for the well wishes! Finally back home and on my way back to good.

Another "amen" on how much more the PIT loss stings after yesterday's showing. But pretty damned validating nonetheless.

Small skid, we should be getting healthier ,hopefully especially on the OL. Now we get back into the soft part of the schedule and be should go a riding' and a whoopin', a whooping' and a ridin'.
Glad to have you back and healthy. Now don’t do anything stupid tonight while watching the Caps!

If he gets hurt it becomes a lot harder to cut him.
Yea, it’s the smart move. Hopefully DeVito wins a bunch of pointless games again and takes them out of the running for the top QBs (again).

Though not sure how high this year’s QBs will go. Sanders and Ward are the only guys that look interesting. Ewers might be good, I dunno.

Glad you’re back and feeling better man.

We ain’t “whooping’” anyone if JD keeps playing so so.

Vote on handing control of RFK to the city of DC today. Obviously transferring control to DC would help greatly in terms of building a new stadium at RFK

I was at work during meetings and stuff but apparently the Senate approved of the RFK deal in committee and will take it to the full Senate for a vote. Messed up thing is that if one person votes no the whole bill is shelved

out of the three bidding options I would rank them

dc
md
va

if the VA one isn't in Dulles it's not accessible. DC should be the primary target. going back to DC where all the glory was

Ewers stock has tanked somewhat I read…
Yeah, seems like folks really liked him or really didn't. But when he went down early and Baby Manning came in and tore it up, I think there was alignment that QE was the beneficiary of a machine, and when the rookie got to play, he ran it even better.

So, yeah, if the NYG want to spend a high pick for Ewers, I support them.

This seems like a bad year to need a QB. Looking at Bugler's current list, he goes:

Cam Ward
Jalen Milroe
Shedeur Sanders
Garrett Nussmeier
[Ewers did not make his top 50]

I do like Ward, but I would be hesitant to take any of the other three top ten. Very glad the Commanders are not in the market for a QB in the 25 draft.

Edit: Looking at the current draft top 10, some very very interesting choices are going to need to be made.

Jaguars - will probably stick with Lawrence with a new HC/OC (hoping for a Harbaugh-like turnaround)
Titans - need a QB
Cleveland - Maybe they stick with Winston? If not, they need a QB
Giants - need a QB
Raiders - need a QB
Pats - fine, obviously
Jets - need a QB
Panthers - might need a QB if they move on from Bryce Young
Cowboys - Probably stick with Dak
Saints - Probably stick with Carr but could consider it

If my predictions pan out, it's not only going to push Ward top 10, but you could see Milroe, Sanders, and another QB or two (Nussmeier / Ewers / Allar) all taken top 10. Yikes.

Milroe was so bad last time I watched him. If he wasn't on a team of 5 star prospects he would be a UDFA. He was missing his wide open WR by like 3 yards and wasn't even close. And that's having a bunch of 1st rounders protecting him and as weapons.

Yeah. We lucked into the magical QB draft, no doubt. Stroud was the one in '23, there wasn't one in '22, and there doesn't look like there's a definite one in '25.

Will be interesting to see if QBs get overdrafted as usual or if we get another 2022 where they drop like stones.

Would prefer the former as it leaves a few more players we can use when it comes our turn.

Milroe's physical talent intrigues me, but he's definitely a work-in-progress. If he ends up in the right situation, he strikes me as a guy who can put it all together and be elite. But there's definitely a higher than usual risk threshold given his inconsistent play.

Given the number of teams that need a QB, someone is going to roll the dice on him top ten, possibly top five.
