Ass defense is ass. Kenny Pickett isn’t coming to save them. They’re not even close to stopping them, Atlanta is gashing them.
Yeah, I'm afraid the last drive illustrated to ATL that they don't need to let Panic keep us in the game, they can just hand it off and eat yardage. We'll need another 5 from 5 to have a chance.

Holy crap can we stop with the penalties please
Says here we can't.

One thing Quinn hasn’t improved is the team IQ. You cannot suck as badly as they do defensively and take unnecessary penalties like that.

Peters really needs to upgrade the d-line. Payne and Allen just don’t cut it, they get no penetration on runs or passes. I don’t know what to think of Newsome yet, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt coming off the foot injury. But so far I’m not seeing much, even flashes.

We are seeing one of my main complaints about Quinn; he’s not particularly creative as a d-coordinator. No QB is ever confused. Atlanta is playing defensive chess.

Falcos have a shitload of momentum and confidence after the QB change. They looked like a totally different team last game. It carried over.

WFT are in for a tough fight

No Collinsworth, the tackles are not good players. They haven’t been for the last 2-3 seasons. It’s like when they used to rave about Young and Sweat like they were all-pros.

And Noah, that is why you’re a mediocre DB. That was catchable.

Kept hearing how bad the Falcons pass rush is, they’ve been blowing through us.
Their d-coordinator is making lemonade out of lemons with disguised blitzes and coverages. We don’t do that.

I'm not too concerned about what our D is showing -- they are who we thought they were.

But the OL looks like dog shit tonight, and that was true before Biadasz went out. Does that mean that Andrew Wylie is the straw that stirs the OL drink?

Because if that's true then I don't even know what to believe in anymore.

Quinn is the Boudreau of the Commanders.

Too dependent on emotion. Shit discipline.

I’ll trust Whitt to figure something out at half

They are not running it right up the middle probably staying away from Payne/newton … edge run D is being targeted
They always run outside zone. This isn’t a surprise gameplan.

While I don’t want him to do well tonight obviously, I do feel for Penix. Rookie QB who from what I’ve heard wasn’t even taking reps with the team most of the year put into the starting role end of the season when you’re fighting for your playoff lives. I think he’ll be good for them in the future, I just don’t want that future to be now.
