Tomlin is also 23-6 against rookie QB's (make it 24)Steelers are a top 10 D
Had the bye week to prepare for KK and JD
We lost by 1
Eagles no. 2 D ...
This is where it gets tough ... 1st looks getting taken away, run game is slowing, less open field for JD to tuck and run
Wasnt going to be JD going 26/30 all season
He's a rookie, he gets one pass. Yeah it cost us the game but he'll definitely learn from the way he looked after the gameDude deserved to be laughed at. Everyone in the stadium, including the maintenance personnel, knew what was happening. Hopefully he’s not like KR guy, learns from it, and never does it again.
O line got abused at times, don’t recall a game this season in which D players were in the backfield, with such regularity, seemingly before the O knew what to do.
All in all, not a bad game…key players out/playing hurt, other guys “playing” their way out of playing time, a learning experience all around. Hopefully coaching staff makes adjustments, so far this season it’s been demonstrated they will.
Don't know if Wylie was the glue or not. Lucas was also out. Even with all that they had the game for the taking.Dude deserved to be laughed at. I wouldn't say it cost us the game, we had already pissed away the lead. It cost us the chance to reclaim the game -- but there were plenty of guys who had one or more than one major f***k up that cost us the game just as much, or more. He's a rookie, he gets one pass. There were so many other things that contributed to losing that game that last penalty is meh to me.I wouldn't say it cost us the game, we had already pissed away the lead. Just a little street sign and a fence! In a shocking development, JDR out at Wisconsin after a DWI. Guess he's not fit to be a college coach, either.
Bears fire first year OC…..
what a disaster…..
Yea, the Hail Mary broke that team. But, also, I think the 7 sacks a game he’s taking have more literally broken him. He looks so miserable on the sideline. He is the definition of “seeing ghosts” and having “happy feet”. He can’t even complete a 7 yd out at this point.Caleb looking worse and worse every game. I think we broke him?

They just got beat badly by a terrible Pats team with Maye just running around playing schoolyard football. They might need to sit Caleb a few games for his own good, regardless of whatever a new OC tries to do. It’s amazing how well the Bears ruin QBs.

It’s him doing what he did in college…..holding the ball too long.Yea, the Hail Mary broke that team. But, also, I think the 7 sacks a game he’s taking have more literally broken him. And its not like they don't have WRs to throw to.
Here's something interesting about the Bears vs Redskins OL rankings. Preseason, PFF had the Skins as 27th and the Bears as 11th. After week 10 (before the Pitt game) they had the Skins at 8 (up 3 spots from week 9) and the Bears at 26 (down 6 spots from week 9)
So DC went from 27 to 8 while the Bears went from 11 to 26. Lots of factors there including health, but QB play has to be part of it.
Yea, to be clear, I wasn’t absolving him from how bad he looks. It reminds me of Howell last year. You can complain about the o-line, and play calling - but, at some point you’ve just got to get rid of the ball faster. But, with all the hits, they become shell shocked and get worse. The David Carr Experience. It’s him doing what he did in college…..holding the ball too long.
