Going back to a previous discussion: Forget their record, I think there's a great chance that the Bears are in the market for a new HC in the offseason.

From ESPN/Keim story on the Hail Yeah:

After scrambling, Daniels heaved it toward the end zone, where five defenders were in front of Brown, who hauled in the game winner. The pass traveled 65.9 yards in the air, making it the third-longest passing touchdown by air distance since 2016.

Not bad for a guy that supposedly doesn't have a sufficient arm.

Loved that story. My personal favorite part was some of the stats on the whole play/scramble:

On the final play, Daniels held onto the ball for 12.79 seconds and scrambled 40.7 yards before the pass, the most yards traveled by any player before throwing a TD pass over the past five seasons. It's the first TD pass with a time to throw over 10 seconds in the NFL Next Gen Stats era (since 2016). From the time the ball was snapped until Brown caught it, 17 seconds elapsed.

Also consider the arc needed for that as it got to the 3 yard line or so and was still over 9 feet in the air when they players jumped for it.

Could be a monster game if it comes to a H2H tie breaker with Chicago for PO seeding.

If there was ever any doubt before, I bet that HBO series put the nail in the coffin

Like… even the narrative was so blunt and brutal about how much they want to replace him, and now he’s got to go and just play knowing that?

Sure he probably already knew deep down, but to see that or have people ask you about it? I wouldn’t cope well with that at my job and I’m not in a remotely desirable profession

Jones is ass. He singlehandedly cost me my #2 vs #1 matchup in fantasy by giving the PIT defense and Watt a point buffet

You mean Romo’s comment? I don’t blame him for that, it was an understandable thought given the rib pain. Coming out of college his arm was thought to be good, just not Allen/Mahomes territory.

On the bright side I think I might have picked up a gem in tracy jr.

4-5 in the final 9 is pretty much a playoff lock right?

They should of course be shooting higher but they have really given themselves some margin for error.
They're just one game out from home field advantage and the sole bye in the playoffs. At this point that should be their goal. So yeah, shooting higher, it's time for that.

No, that was in reference to some posters here who were slandering JD's arm as another reason he would be a bad pick, and at least one reference to "noodle arm" from earlier in the season.

I think the Lions are borderline unstoppable -- the thing that might help us is the fact that they have a much tougher division than we do. We've both only played one division game so far.

Lol at those takes. Like, has there been a single time this year when JD missed a pass and everyone thought "if only he could just throw harder" 🤷
