Yimi’s been better against lefties than righties since last year and I’m honestly surprised they didn’t bring Smith to PH against Mayza (which would’ve been a way better matchup against us).

Spreadsheets aren’t always to blame.

I didn't love the decision either, but Yimi was labouring in that inning and Mayza has been more like himself the last couple weeks. Neither was going to be an egregious decision.
