I think we just have to get used to it that Vladdy is not a prolific home run hitter anymore, and probably won't be again. Who knows if he ever truly was, the one anomaly being the covid year with so many games in minor league ballparks.

Heck, he's not hitting many doubles either.

And before anyone mentions Semien as another example, he hit half of his homeruns in the last 2 months when they moved to the dome.

Vladdy also hit 5 in 10 at Fenway, 5 in 10 at Yankee Stadium, and 4 in 9 at Camden. He was hitting bombs everywhere.

He’s had a tough time with power since then but that’s not to say he can’t hit that level again. Like you said he’s only 25, most MLBers are making debuts at that age. All it takes is one George to figure out what’s wrong with his swing.
