I'm guessing it will be Cabrera and Pearson.

Jays will keep that extra length in the bullpen (Francis+White) until they think Gausman is feeling 100% like himself, and no one else is optionable.

Also Richards splits are even vs R/L so he can basically function 2nd guy who can get out lefties in the pen for now, because Cabrera deserves a Buffalo stint.

Francis for sure for one as he as an option left. Next will be really interesting. White is next but doesn’t have options. Do they want to lose him for nothing?

Pearson and Cabrera have options but Pearson has been great and Cabrera is your 2nd lefty. So I’m guessing White gets DFA’d and they try to get something in a trade for him.

The more I thought about it, it's between Francis/White and Genesis/Pearson. Francis has the option so he gets sent down. He also hasn't pitched well.

Pearson has done really well and touched 102.3mph today. Having two lefties in the pen is good but Richards is also good against lefties. Genesis has been off so far as well.

I think it will be Francis and Genesis.

If lineups are coming from upper management then they need to be removed asap. If this stuff is coming from Schneider then it should be applied to him as well. Just seems like wild over analyzing at this point.

I’m sure there is a bit of both, I mean the manager should have the final say. It’s pretty obvious Schneider is a terrible manager, and seems to be not well liked around the league. Hopefully they move on from him shortly

i think the problem is that he's the ultimate yes man / company bitch. He'll do what he's being told. period.

I can't imagine that there are many credible baseball managers who will just carry out orders from the calculator nerds that run this team. But all signs point to Schneider being that guy.

And i don't think Atkins Shapiro are that bad necessarily. They have a pretty good eye for young talent and i think they have made some great player transactions. There's just such a bad role balance of decision making with this team.
