I didn't want to say it myself, but he shouldn't be allowed to be that out of shape. He's supposed to be a pro athlete with all the resources a person could possibly want available to him. I'll never understand how a person in pro sports can be such a fat slob.
He’s just got that body type. He’s not sloppy fat, but I don’t think he will ever look any different. Anyway, he’s a great baseball player so what does it really matter

It matters because he could/should be a better baseball player if he wasn't as fat, just like vlad..

First year or whatever sure who cares, I love kirk and his non typical success story, but after years of MLB resources/offseasons/ etc he should be in noticeably better shape by now, it's really not that difficult or unreasonable.

He just looks like a fridge. lol.

Berrios was great today. I was really impressed by him. If that's what he's going to look like this season we're in for a significant improvement from last season. He had great control all game.

It’s also not difficult to understand this is how he has also looked and he’s a really good baseball player, so I’m not sure it’s negatively affected him. If he lost a ton of weight, it may actually have a negative impact on his baseball skills.
