What is this blasphemy , we should tank next year too

Barring injuries, we'll be looking for Wild card next year. After FAs signing in July, Hugo will have a very young but talented team, just missing a PPG star in our top 6. After that, I'm good with what we have.. there is very thin margins btw teams nowadays as the 4th line players have closed the gap on 3rd liners.. basically most NHL teams have top 6 and middle 6 contributors..

Dvo 50% retained is movable in the summer.

Coming off of a serious injury and not having played a single game at that time......I would be very surprised if Hughes could move him or even would want to. Ideally he comes back, plays well and stays healthy and is able to generate a decent return as a rental.

I'm still hoping we re-sign Monahan as the 3c in the summer.

Yes, I know the chances are slim to none. But I don't think Slim has left town just yet.
