Waiting for the typical troll response to roll in if we are done. The people who were clamoring to not make trades "Wennberg was a waste of assets if Drury didn't plan on making any more trades. We should have gone for it. Horrible GM".

Wennberg auditioning to get some of Chytil’s money if he is out beyond this year is perfectly okay with me. Eye test and underlying numbers say he has more to give.

You can give credit to Drury for not making a bad trade, but he 100% misread the market.

Speaking completely in the context of what happened, they would have been better off giving their first to Anaheim for Henrique, and using the Wennberg package to get a winger. Drury can pat himself on the back for realizing not of the wingers on the board after Jake G deserved a FRP, but the Rangers are going to be a player short and staring at another first round playoff exit.

Of course I would have just loaded up on the defense, and paid less attention to the forwards, but what do I know.

Dodged a massive bullet with henrique. The hockey Gods wouldve struck us down for spitting on our own history like that.

Usually hitting that stage when you're sucking wind hard and everything is terrible if you dial it back just a bit then your body will recover. At altitude that doesn't quite work the same. Granted I'm thinking of 11k feet, but it sucks when you're like "I feel fine except my body can't get enough oxygen and if I don't immediately stop everything I'm doing I am literally going to pass out" and not even trying to just pull back a bit makes a difference
