In all seriousness, Chad R has been the perfect #7 D man. Can fill in when called upon and play third pairing minutes. He doesnt do anything great. But he also doesnt have any glaring flaws. 9/10 you wont notice him and thats usually not bad for a third pair guy.

For Wennberg? That wasn't an overpayment. You're literally one of a few people who just get pissed off at everything because your wholly unrealistic expectations are never met. Even the main boards, who hate the Rangers, acknowledged it was a fair deal.
