Johansen sucks wind at generating offense but he can defend and it's easier to hide a forward than a defensman if necessary.

2 playoff runs of Vatrano aren’t getting a return of mid round picks, it’s going to be a first at minimum.

I think you're massively overvaluing the player. He's a middle-six sniper having a career year and riding high shooting %'s and opportunity he won't get on most other teams.

Doesn't contribute much else than goals and shots. Teams might actually probably be more interested in him if his contract was expiring than having to be saddled with him for another year.

If Anaheim retains 50%, maybe they can get someone to pony up, but I highly doubt it.
