We have more than that, check all the ELCs on NHL contracts. Roy and Beck make it 14, and there's still Heineman, etc..

He’s the type of d-man you acquire at the trade deadline to bolster your D depth for the playoffs. He’s not the kind of guy you commit to long term. He’s turning 35 for crying out loud!

It’s 4.5 average, but is it front loaded? That’s what I’ve heard from a source that we may not have complete confidence in. But it would make sense for a 2 year higher pay and then it tappers off.

Somehow we can't trade matheson because he's a vet, but filling our top 12 with youngsters is fine with everyone. Nothing makes sense. We've grown into absolute yes men for HuGo. Ridiculous.

ELCs are two way contracts and Roy/Beck are not eligible for waivers for a while so not really an issue....

What do you do with Anderson’s contract? Personally, I think they are trying to find ways to get him going to improve his value to us or for a trade to a better environment. Hopefully, Anderson puts in the work this summer and comes back reinvigorated.
