Bingo. We should sign no one - not even depth players, of which we have too many already. I suspect we'll target some tweener AHL/NHL forward that we could call up in case of injury, but that's it.

We're still years away from our competitive window and do not need to overpay for aging talent.

Not sure who Montreal is targeting, but I like William Carrier for our 4th line. There's a number of top 6 players available; hopefully we sign one.

Defensemen (8): Matheson, Guhle, Harris, Struble, Xhekaj, Savard, Kovacevic, Barron. Should be: Hutson. Maybes: Mailloux, Reinbacher

Goalies: Montembeault, Primeau

Signing a defenseman would be absolutely looney, we need to trade at least 2 of them BEFORE the start of the year. We could go for a middle six forward or two on short term contracts and reevaluate keeping them at the deadline.
