Because the easiest bet in the NHL is that a team will not win the championship twice in a row.
 
Chicago should be last. Bizarre to see them ahead of 6 other teams

Seattle is getting massively underrated

Toronto at 2? I'll say nothing more.

Many other issues with that list. One of the worst I've ever seen.

Clearly this is the first of Las Vegas' 3-peat. It will be a historic moment in Seattle Kraken's franchise history. You heard it here first.
 
For me personally I go Edmonton and Toronto 1-2 because they have something to prove

Otherwise I like DAL, CAR, NYR, VGK, NJ in any order

Next tier BOS, FLA, TB, COL and SEA

It does seem that way eh vegas odds should not not be interpreted as the likelihood of a team winning, but rather how people will be betting. In a lot of cases these two things converge since people like to bet on winners, but early betting like this isn't a real good reflection of reality.
 
Even as a Knights fan, i wouldn't bet on the Knights winning again in 2024 just for the reason that it is insanely difficult to win back to back cups.
