Columbus strengthens their defense and has a better offense than Chicago yet the odds aren’t in their favor

Yeah I don’t think folks realize that these odds are a combo of expectation of betting behavior mixed with a hedging based on expected results.

It does seem that way eh vegas odds should not not be interpreted as the likelihood of a team winning, but rather how people will be betting. In a lot of cases these two things converge since people like to bet on winners, but early betting like this isn't a real good reflection of reality.

Even as a Knights fan, i wouldn't bet on the Knights winning again in 2024 just for the reason that it is insanely difficult to win back to back cups.
