I know it's early, but anyone (already) thinking about their draft strategy for next season?
Looking at the current ADPs, I’m thinking of going Hero RB with Breece Hall since I have the pick #5 in my 12 team PPR league this season. I don’t really trust RBs past the 1st and 2nd round, and I feel like the top 5 of CMC, Breece, Bijan, Gibbs and Taylor are the only sure values.

My league is using ESPN, so there’s no way I’m going to be able to draft Henry past round 2 due to his high ADP, I don’t like Saquon, I’m skeptical on Achane due to his injuries last year and Etienne Jr almost threw away my championship last year by shitting the bed in the 2nd half of the season, so I think I’m staying away from him. After that, there’s a RB dead zone for me so I’m going to stack up on WRs, take my QB and my TE and try to stack up on multiple RBs later to alternate week to week depending on the matchup.

Have a few best ball teams in underdog so far, where you're picking will alter what you're looking to do bigtime

Teams in draft order

1st pick - CMC, Waddle, DK, Lamar, R. White, D. Johnson, Engram, J. Brooks, Sutton, Corum, Chubb, then filler

1st pick - CMC, Deebo, DK, Etienne, Andrews, McConkey, Shroud, Sutton, Robinson Jr., Meyers, Corum

9th pick - Hall, Gibbs, Diggs, Laporta, K. Allen, R. White, Shroud, Sutton, Locket, Singletary, Downs, then filler

12th pick - MHJ, London, J, Allen, Etienne, Pitts, R. White, Addison, A. Jones, Singletary, Meyers, J. Williams, then filler

I'm trying to get Sutton, Etienne, Singletary and R. White wherever I can at their prices now, those are the 2 "mid" (4-6) round RB's and 7+ RB I'm looking at everywhere

I keep seeing Breeces name up there.. Top 10 in some Sleeper drafts and even some YouTube (amateur) fantasy channels. I’m just worried about his injury two seasons ago.

My league is a redraft PPR one through ESPN. I’m really debating with the first pick taking CMC and then another quality back with my second pick. (Maybe Henry? Josh Jacobs?)

I feel like the quality of RBs drops significantly more than WR options.

I hope I can maintain my QB in Hurts somehow. But then I wouldn’t pick a good quality WR until rounds 4-5

I've done quite a few best ball drafts on Underdog so far.

They are a lot of fun, but it is very different draft strategy than redraft. WR go much higher and faster, and stacking is huge. If you don't stack you are limiting yourself majorly. I tend to try to go one RB early then hammer WR and pick up either an elite TE or QB. The more into it you get they also talk about week 17 correlation where you try and have guys playing against each other in week 17, so that if that game goes crazy you have a good chance at winning.

I've also started two dynasty startups, superflex. These are very interesting and fun drafts, so far in my 2nd one 18 of the first 42 picks are QB. If you don't have a QB you are f***ed.

Breece is now fully healed from his ACL tear and it’s not necessarily an injury that you can re-aggravate once you’ve had surgery for it.

Ever since he stopped being on a pitch count in week 5, he’s produced at a 20 PPG clip for the rest of the season, while playing behind the worst o-line, with the worst quarterback and while have one single carry inside the 5 yard line. I’m not trying to convince you to take him, but if you get him after pick 7, it will be a steal.

If I had the 1st overall, I’d probably go CMC or Lamb. If you go Lamb, I’d try to grab maybe Henry and Achane at the 2-3 turn or snag a WR with one of your picks and if you go CMC, I’d try to snag either Davante or MHJ if they’re still available (they have low ADPs on ESPN). With your other pick, I’d probably try to go with either another WR or another RB (Henry or Achane). I know you’re not high on Davante because of the experience you had with him last season, but IMO, there’s no way he has a worse season than he had last year.

Another possibility could be to draft your QB at the 2-3 turn, although it’s not really recommended if your league members know what they’re doing.

That’s my 2 cents.

Alright, I am picking at number 2.

I can go Patrick Mahomes again but he was straight ass last year.
I can do Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen or someone else, Run CMC is going number 1 as I won't be able to get him.

Unless your league is weighted toward QB I wouldn’t take one at 2. But if you’re set on it then Josh Allen.

I have the top pick on a fresh dynasty league. Agonizing over who to take. It's half ppr.

Feel like it's between ceedee, JJ and CMC. CMC scares me though. Going to be 29 injury history. And idk who I value more between ceedee and jj

Not RB in dynasty, their life cycle is way shorter. CD/JJ will have a lot more years of being productive than CMC will.

If it's superflex you need to draft a QB though. They go so fast.

I got an A+ too , didn't we both have Josh and CMC last season and won our leagues? Your team looks nice.
I didn’t have Allen, but I had CMC, Kyren, and Nico and won it. I drafted Fields but ended up with Purdy at the end.

Best Ball is great if you're like me and agonize over who to sit and start, only to later beat yourself up for benching a guy who went off for 2 TDs and 120 yards while playing a dude who got 2.7 points.

Who you don't draft may be more important than who you do. Every year I pick 12 guys I think will disappoint and exclude them from my rankings. That's my list this year.

Any reason you're low on Etienne? He finished rb3 last year im pretty sure and the jags should be better this year

Have pick #1 in a 12 team PPR. Have no idea what I'm going to do at 23-24. Considering taking the two best WR option to stack with CMC. Which seems to be London/Evans/Collins at 23-24. Or may just take one and grab Josh Allen. Having CMC and Allen may make it hard for me to lose any given week.

Then pray James Cook falls to me at my pick 4/5
